The Folly is a sympathetically converted one bedroomed barn, attached to the main farmhouse. It has been furnished to a high standard and sleeps 2. It is the perfect base from which to explore the stunning Peak District, with walks and rides from the doorstep. We are situated in the country village of Wormhill, Derbyshire, deep in the heart of the Peak District National Park. Closest towns are Tideswell and Buxton. We are very close to the Pennine Bridleway, Monsal Trail and Limestone Way. The space The Folly comprises of a large open plan ground floor featuring a kitchen/living area, with oak flooring (underfloor heating) throughout and a wood burning stove. The kitchen is fully equipped including cooker, microwave, dishwasher, coffee machine, washer dryer, fridge freezer etc. There is also a ground floor WC/Shower Room. On the first floor there is a bedroom with kingsize oak bed and a bathroom with large freestanding bath and separate shower cubicle. WiFi is available for guests. FreeSat TVs are in the living room and bedroom. Off road parking for up to 2 cars. Please note there is no garden, but there are 2 small outside seating areas for guests use. We are in a village with a number of working farms and therefore there are animals around. Guests have full exclusive use of the Folly for their stay. PLEASE NOTE: 1) No children, infants or pets are accepted 2) the Folly is No Smoking, this includes vaping and e-cigarettes. Check in time is from 16.00, check out time is 10.00. Guest access Exclusive use of the one bedroomed barn Other things to note We do provide a guests only website which has full details on the Folly, need to knows, instructions for all appliances and lots of local information on activities, local shops, pubs, restaurants etc. Access to this is provided to you a few days ahead of your booking.
