Large vacation home in a beautiful location! The house is located by the forest overlooking the fields on the edge of a stud farm in Krumstedt, Dithmarschen, 9 km from the Kiel Canal, 20 minutes by car from the North Sea in Meldorf. At the house, the large, covered, secluded terrace with lawn, sandpit, beach chair and great views offers plenty of space for relaxation. The garden is fenced so that children and dogs can play carefree. The space In the house there are a total of about 140 square meters on two floors. On the first floor there is an approx. 40 sqm living/dining room with fireplace and large flat-screen TV, a fully equipped kitchen, bathroom, guest toilet and a bedroom with a 1.40 bed. The ground floor is also suitable for wheelchair users and has a barrier-free, wheelchair-accessible shower. A utility room with washing machine and dryer can be reached via the covered terrace. Upstairs there is a large bedroom with a 1.80 bed and a slightly smaller room also with a 1.80 bed, another bathroom with shower and a third bedroom with a 1.40 double bed The house was the residence of the stud farm owners for a long time, has now been renovated as a vacation home, but we have preserved the rustic/rural style with old country house furniture and many pictures of the horses. Wi-Fi and satellite TV are provided. Cell phone reception can sometimes be a bit shaky depending on the network. Right next to the house are paved parking spaces for 3-4 cars. Bicycles can be parked on the large, covered terrace. Dogs are welcome! Other things to note There is a basic set of towels available, but please bring your own bath sheets/shower towels. We, the owners, live on the farm in a second house. The terrace and garden of the vacation home are facing away from the courtyard directly overlooking the fields (see photos) and are not visible from the courtyard, so our guests have complete peace and quiet! We have two dogs who sometimes let us know when someone comes, but they are friendly and used to visitors - two and four-legged. On the farm it is usually very quiet, from time to time come delivery vans, a tractor that picks up hay or horse owners who take care of their animals.
