Palazzo Pizzo Studio Bellavista + garage

This cozy apartment is located on the lower floor of a charming 200 year old house. Enjoy stunning views over the sea, the local beach and the castle. Have an aperitivo while watching the sunset from your balcony. From here it’s just a 2 min walk to Pizzo’s lively main square with a good choice of restaurants, bars and grocery shops, and a 10 min walk to the beach. Take advantage of a garage, free parking and WIFI. Pizzo is the ideal base to explore Calabria, just 28 km from Lamezia airport. The space This cozy and unique apartment includes a bedroom (queen size bed) and a living room with a dining area, a well equipped kitchen and a bathroom with shower, WC and bidet. The floor space is about 60 m2 (645 sq ft). The entrance is on the ground floor and just 5 steps down is the kitchen. The kitchen and partially the bedroom are 3/4th below street level, along the church square (with windows). At the end of the bedroom is a small balcony which offers stunning views where you can enjoy your breakfast or an aperitivo at sunset. The living and dining room has two windows with sea view. The dining table has 4 chairs. The sofa bed (about 140 cm wide) in the living room could sleep one extra person. The apartment (completely restored 2013-2016) has double glazing windows, central heating, air condition, dishwasher, washing machine, large fridge, oven/microwave, WIFI and free parking in garage on request. Guest access The entire apartment is just for you during your stay. If you come by car you could park in the garage next door free of charge. (We might need to access the garage to take out some tools or products once in a while.) Other things to note IMPORTANT - PLEASE NOTE: There are renovation works in progress around Pizzo. There might be an impact from construction sites during work hours (Mo-Fr about 8am-11:30am and 13:00-15:30): e.g. the final fixing of the Proloco roof on the right hand side of the balcony. The city tax of Pizzo Calabro (tassa di soggiorno) is €2.00 per person per night and applies all year round (as of March 2019) for a maximum of 14 nights. We are also required to provide all guest names together with data from your ID/passports to the Questura within 24 h of your check-in. We will take fotos upon arrival of your ID. There is no car or scooter rental in Pizzo. You can rent a car in Lamezia at the airport or central train station, or rent a car or scooter in Tropea. Please rent a SMALL car (smallest category). If you need a pick-up service we can help to book a taxi for you from/to airport or train station. The week around August 15th is the peak of the high season and there will be an increase of visitors to Pizzo with some impact on the daily life: traffic jams, chaotic parking, slower service and lower quality at restaurants, problems with garbage collection, loud late night entertainment but also some interesting cultural events, ‘sagras’, concerts, processions and local festivities in the diverse squares and alleys.
