Local pubs, cafes and shops are excellent, just a short drive away and public footpaths from on site. We have some local walks from site on National Trust land. Away from the hustle and bustle, this peaceful spot has unrivalled far reaching views of the peaks and your own bench outside to enjoy them, or the stars! We look forward to hosting you for your stay. The space The cottage has an open plan living, dining and kitchen area with separate bathroom and double bedroom. Includes TV, hairdryer, four poster double bed, dishwasher, oven, microwave and undercounter fridge/freezer. There is no outside space to use with the booking, except your very own bench along our quiet picturesque driveway. Also one large parking space directly outside the cottage. There are public footpaths directly off our drive and guests can walk the long drive with dogs on leads for a quick stroll before bed. There is an EV charge point and no charging will be allowed other than through the charge point. Electricity charges apply, these fluctuate so ask upon booking. Please note this is a non smoking/vaping building. Guest access You can walk down the main access driveway to take in the open far reaching views. There is currently no outside space to use adjacent to the property, except one parking space directly outside the cottage and a bench just for your use. Please do not block the main house door when parking. The nearest big supermarket is Leek(Sainsburys & Morrisons), Buxton(Morrisons) or Ashbourne(Aldi, Sainsbury’s & M&S). Other things to note There are other holiday cottages separately owned on site, please make sure you are considerate of their stay also. There is WiFi which you can use for WiFi enabled calls as there is limited mobile phone signal inside. Wifi is strong and guests have used it to work from on site. Dogs must be kept on a lead at all times on site, no exceptions. Strictly no smoking/Vaping.
