Named after the delightful birds that like to pay their short visit at the start of summer each year, Swift Cottage is two Victorian cottages, seamlessly combined into one, and is simply lovely! Renovated to a high standard with ample character still evident, there are beamed ceilings throughout, an inglenook fireplace and feature brick walls and archways. Pale decor, floorboards and beams combine with funky antler wall lights and modern cottage-style furniture and furnishings. The overall feel is modern, relaxing, airy and spacious with a hint of Scandi. The well-equipped kitchen and bathrooms are bang up-to-date, and the two double bedrooms have comfy beds, one of which offers a twin or super-king option (please request your desired option on booking). Swift Cottage is a delightful Norfolk hideaway for couples, friends and small families at any time of the year. It offers a lovely base from which to get out and about and enjoy this beautiful part of North West Norfolk, and then return to after a busy day exploring. Perfect for visiting both the beach and country houses, walking, birdwatching, cycling and, of course, enjoying some of the most delicious local produce you will find on offer in a of nearby selection of pubs, restaurants and farm shops. Guest access Ground Floor: The entrance door leads into Breakfast kitchen A spacious, bright and well-equipped modern fitted kitchen with fan oven, induction hob with extractor over, Smeg fridge/freezer, slimline dishwasher and washer/dryer. There is a round wooden table with seating for four. Cloakroom With wash basin and WC, and space to hang outdoor coats. Sitting room A very comfortable, cosy room with a two leather sofas (one two-seater, one three-seater), inglenook fireplace with gas 'log burner', widescreen television, DVD player and WiFi. Dining room With painted wooden floor, dining table with seating for four, and leather armchair. First Floor: Master bedroom With super-king size zip-and-link bed (if twin beds are required, please request on booking), fitted wardrobe cupboards and dressing table. Bedroom two With a double bed, bedside drawers and dressing table. Bathroom With painted tongue and groove half-height panelling, bath with shower over, wash basin and WC. Outside: There is parking for two medium sized cars on the driveway. A small enclosed gated paved courtyard has a bench and table with seating for two.
