Archie's Cottage is a beautifully renovated Victorian Cottage set in the heart of Lincoln's Cathedral Quarter. It's an easy level stroll to Lincoln Castle (New Magna Carter Visitor's Centre), Cathedral, Steep Hill and the vibrant Bailgate area where you will find cobbled streets, independent shops, cafes and pubs. Lincoln University is 2.3 miles and Bishop Grosseteste University 500m away. The nearest restaurant and pub are within 150m of the property. Park for free - On street parking. The space Archie's Cottage is a charming, two-bedroom holiday home with modern amenities, within walking distance of Lincoln's cultural attractions, nightlife and universities. The cottage has recently undergone a complete refurbishment and provides luxury accommodation for up to four guests in two spacious bedrooms (one king and one double). It is ideal for families, groups of friends, business guests or for a romantic city break to enjoy the delights of Lincoln. Our brand-new features, fittings and appliances include: a large fridge/freezer, dishwasher, microwave and washing machine, high-speed internet on a Wi-Fi network throughout the home and garden two 'smart' TVs with BBC iPlayer, ITVX, YouTube, Netflix and a selection of channels - these are located in the lounge and the king bedroom a walk-in rainfall shower, bath and complimentary toiletries. Guests are also welcome to enjoy the outdoor courtyard area with table, chairs and BBQ. Please be aware that our neighbours have a right of access through the courtyard to take bins to the front of the cottage for collection etc. We have installed CCTV cameras outside, at the front and rear of the cottage for your safety and security. Free on-street parking is available, and you'll usually find a space close to the Cottage. More about Archie's Cottage Steep Stairs - Please note that as Archie's Cottage is an older property, the stairs are fairly steep and you will need to be able to use them to gain access to the two bedrooms, bathroom and exit the cottage quickly should the need arise. It is advisable to take this into consideration; especially if mobility is a concern. Guest Access - You will have the entire property to yourselves. At the beginning of your stay, we will meet you at Archie's and hand over the keys. If we are unable to meet you, then the cottage can be accessed via a Key Safe box. Requests - A highchair and travel cot are available upon request. Please request these items at the time of booking. Please note that the travel cot, mattress and bottom sheet will be provided. You will need to bring all other bedding required for the cot. Guest access You will have the entire property to yourselves. At the beginning of your stay, we will meet you at the property and hand over a set of keys for your use. If we are unable to meet you, then the cottage can be accessed via a Key Safe box. There is a private courtyard to the rear of the cottage for your use. Please be aware that our neighbours have a right of access through our courtyard to take bins to the front of the property for collection etc. Other things to note We have a rear lockable Outhouse in which you can store bikes or other items during your stay.
