B&B Wachtpost 29, real gem in the middle of nature

What was once a train track from Boxtel to Wesel has now become a beautiful walking trail through the natural wealth surrounding Houtvennen. Our guest house stands dead centre in this area! We call it a B&B because we serve a royal breakfast after every night of your stay. Simultaneously, it’s a magnificent vacation home with complete privacy in an environment where you can go for a walk, go cycling, but also just relax. One of our guests called it “A real gem”. And that’s a fact. The space The guest house stands next to our “Guard post 29”, between marshes and along the abandoned railway. A perfect refuge for cycling, walking, or if you like birds, deer, forests and/or mushrooms. But it's also a great spot if you just want to relax. Plus: you're allowed to have your dog(s) tag along! The residence has two floors. The ground floor has been renovated late 2019/ early 2020. See pictures for the result. The “master bedroom” is found on the ground floor, next to the spacious bathroom with walk-in shower. On the second floor you'll find the second bedroom and a half-open attic with comfortable sleeping couch. The ground floor also has a living room, open kitchen with dining table, a playing room with table football, and the lavatory. We are happy to negotiate a special price for whole families or groups of friends. Every overnight stay includes a luxurious breakfast including freshly baked bread, an egg, home-made jams, and freshly squeezed orange juice. The holiday home has two floors. At the ground floor you will also find the sitting room, open-plan kitchen with dining table, a games room with foosball table, and toilet. We are happy to offer you a special rate if you want to come with your whole family, relatives or group of friends. With us, every overnight stay includes an extensive breakfast with homemade bread, egg, homemade jams and fresh juice. Guest access All rooms are found in the same building, which is for your use only, containing a living room, open kitchen with dining table, shower, lavatory and playing room with table football. And of course you’ll have access to our lovely garden, with multiple spots to sit and relax, a large trampoline and a chicken coop.
