De Strobloem – holiday on the farm

The Strobloem is a colorful, beautifully renovated vacation home on a cattle farm located in the border village of Horendonk (Essen, Belgium). Nearby are many hiking and biking routes, playgrounds, nature reserves, restaurants... This vacation home is comfortable for two adults (double bed) and 2 children (bunk bed in small room). Please take this into consideration when making your booking request. The space The house itself is located in the stable section of a long gable farmhouse that was converted into a house in the early 1980s. Recently, in early 2019, the house was renovated into a vacation home. For the little ones, there is a baby bed and a high chair. There is a kitchen with oven, microwave and coffee machine (Nespresso), bathroom with shower bath and veranda overlooking the garden. There is WiFi in the house and a television. Guest access Parking is possible in the courtyard to the right of the veranda, easily and safely behind an electric gate. There is a large garden at the house that you can use. We have some basic women's bikes available to explore the area, three bikes have a child seat (two for toddlers/preschoolers up to 22 kg and one for children up to 35 kg). Please indicate when booking if you wish to use these bicycles.
