Description

Apartment no. 5 can accommodate up to 3 people in a bright, renovated 35 m² space and has direct access via the 70 m² roof terrace! Dogs are also allowed here. - Fully equipped kitchen with fridge and dishwasher - Shower room - King size premium bed by Hasena - 32-inch smart TV, sofa bed, dining table - Free Wi-Fi (50 Mbit) -Common room with board games - Free parking in the 160 m² garage and at the house - a delicious bottle of wine or grape juice :-) The space The guesthouse Nonno is located in the Weyher village center, directly adjacent to the vineyards and next to the beautiful parish church of St. Peter & Paul. Here the oldest contiguous bell ensemble of the Palatinate, over which an interesting chapter of local history spreads! For the historic preservation of the church tower clock, the mechanical clockwork (from 1846!) is still voluntarily raised every day - and this has been done by the same person for 38 years! My guests have a total of 7 apartments of 22 – 60 m² for 2-4 people. 6 of the apartments have been renovated since 2022 (since the question is often asked: these are all those who have new vinyl oak floors in the pictures. 1 apartment is still equipped with carpet, but already has a new bathroom). The apartments have fully equipped, small kitchens with basic amenities (including salt, pepper, sugar). A bread baking machine is available in every apartment for baking rolls. For guests who work from home, there is the possibility to use a workspace in the apartment or common room (height-adjustable table, screen, periphery and ergonomic office chair). Coffee lovers will get their money's worth depending on your taste - each apartment has a K-fee capsule machine, a filter coffee machine, and a French press. For larger needs for food or baked goods, there is also a large, communal freezer in the common room. All apartments are equipped with a 32 inch smart TV that allows you to connect directly to your Youtube, Netflix or Amazon Prime account. In the 160 m² lockable garage, my guests have 5 free parking spaces available. Another parking space in the garage is for storing bicycles and offers charging facilities for e-bikes. There are also 2 more outdoor parking spaces at the house for my guests. Linens and towels are provided and can be exchanged on request during the stay. Otherwise, a washing machine and dryer are also available to my guests in the garage for free. A 35 m² lounge (here you will find information materials, information about current events & restaurants as well as games) and the 70 m² roof terrace are shared. The roof terrace was covered with new BPC floorboards in 2021 and invites you to have breakfast, sunbathe and linger – preferably with a glass of Weyher wine ;-) For children, a wide range of games and books are available for all ages. A high chair and a baby travel cot as well as a changing mat are also available. In addition, my guests will find a ping pong table with rackets and balls in the garage. Weyher is a beautiful little village on the Haardtrand (of the Palatinate Forest) and is not called "the balcony to the sky" for nothing. The view of the Rhine plain is simply amazing! 7 winemakers in the village as well as many restaurants, wine bars and farmed forest huts - for example, the Swiss house and the Rietania hut are only a short walk away - offer a great starting point for hiking tours, (racing)cycling or mountain biking in one of the most beautiful areas of Germany. The 110(!) Palatinate Forest huts are unique and part of the UNESCO World Heritage Site. Since it is not directly on, but 1 km above the wine road, the place is also really traffic-calmed. "Palatinate you want to relax..." so you are in the right place with me! :-) In the village itself, there is a sale of baked goods in the village shop "Dorfleben" on Wednesday, Friday and Saturday. There is also local patisserie and all kinds of souvenirs and also things of daily needs. On Saturday there are great fruits and vegetables at the weekly market - all this only about 100 m from the guest house. Those who like delicious food should definitely try to reserve a place in the "Winzerstube Weyher" in advance. In my opinion, in the top 10 of the wine route and therefore usually booked for weeks. But also the Burrweiler mill, the winery cafe in the Graf winery and the wine bar "Zum Löwen" (open seasonally) are (among many others) within walking distance recommended destinations for friends good food and drink. My guests will find many tips in the information folder available in the apartments as well as in the lounge. Feel free to contact me in advance if you need reservation recommendations. I look forward to meeting you and wish you a pleasant stay in advance! Guest access To the in-house parking spaces, the respective apartment as well as the shared rooms (common room with board games, roof terrace). Other things to note The information for self check-in (key box, location of the apartment, etc.) is automatically sent by Airbnb at midnight on the day of arrival. If this is too late for certain reasons, please feel free to contact me again.
