The Retreat at Groenfontein is a Victorian farm house with sweeping gardens, 4 comfortable standard rooms in the main house (quoted rate) and 4 garden rooms with magnificent views of the mountains - an additional charge. DINNER, LUNCH AND B/FAST AVAILABLE AT ADDITIONAL COST - NO SELF-CATERING Meals have a health emphasis and vegetarians are welcome. We have a pool, a dam and rock-pools in the river and challenging walking-trails. The space We are in a VERY beautiful valley with amazing mountain views and very stimulating mountain walks and trails. We have trail maps and are available to direct you and advice you. We have a qualified trail guide who must be booked in advance. Guest access We are a guest house but let individual rooms with en-suite bathrooms to guests - we have a lounge and a dining-room - we serve DINNER and BREAKFAST (included in rate), all accessible to guests. The gardens and the pool and the whole premises are accessible to guests. During your stay We are always present and can help guests with any questions, advice or help with planning day outings etc. We serve tea and coffee at any time and are available to serve drinks from the bar at any time.
