Dream villa Vajuma in the Eifel: Whirlpool, Sauna

At the gates of Cologne, the spacious private villa offers space for up to three couples. It extends on the edge of the Eifel National Park over a 2,000 m² plot. Covered barbecue area and Jacuzzi promise relaxation under the stars. The villa combines relaxation and fun. A specially furnished playroom with a foosball table and an outdoor playground let young and old experience pleasant hours. The villa, surrounded by nature, is created for shared moments. The garden is very large, with its own jacuzzi and lounging areas, covered terrace and games, it invites you to linger. The wellness area with sauna and fitness equipment is available for your exclusive use. The attic has two spacious playrooms, filled with games for all ages, a foosball table, toys and books. A sauna area with fitness equipment and a separate shower/WC promise relaxing hours. In the garden, exclusively for you, you will find a garden house, a wind-protected outdoor dining area glazed on two sides with a large gas grill and a hot tub that can be heated up to 40°C. Your own playground with playground equipment, dartboard, mountain bikes, etc. invites you to spend happy hours outdoors. A free laundry service includes bed linen, bathrobes, hand towels and dish towels as well as shower and sauna towels. Free parking is available in the private driveway. In a separate wing of the house you will find a washing machine, dryer and ironing board. Please note that parties are not allowed. Guest access You have access to almost all rooms of the house. Infants between 0 and 2 years old only at your own risk. We have made the garden as childproof as possible and removed a pond for this purpose. However, the stairs are not childproof, we have no door protection there. Our children are already grown up and we enjoy the time without door guards :-) If you want to bring your children at that age, this is at your own risk! Other things to note No parties are allowed. A wine cellar (wine for a fee) and, if desired, an unsolved criminal case for 6 people (to be obtained when booking with three couples) awaits you. Frequently asked questions: Is it quiet around the villa? The large garden of the villa borders the country road L 206. The maximum speed here is 70 km/h. Here you might hear the vehicles - you usually don't hear people here. Is the garden fenced? The garden has a size of 2,200 square meters and even if it were completely fenced, we could not guarantee that an animal could dig through there. Therefore, no, it is partly fenced with a beautiful wooden fence, but if necessary, even an adult Labrador can crawl through if he/she sniffs something tasty... We have had the experience that the dog owners were so satisfied with the large garden that the topic of the fence ultimately no longer played a role. Since the villa is in the countryside, dogs are always welcome there. Can I bring two small dogs instead of a large dog? Yes, the surcharge is €50/week. Does the Jacuzzi run all year round? Yes, our Jacuzzi is operated all year round and can be heated up to 40°C. Do we live in the whole property alone, even with a booking of 2 people? The property, garden, garden house with grill, jacuzzi and sauna are available for your exclusive use. We also do not lock unused guest rooms, but in return do not expect unannounced additional guests. In addition to the apartment in the front area, you have free access to all rooms, including laundry room and wine cellar (wine at extra cost). I'm bringing more guests, do I need to register them? All guests must be registered at check-in and have their ID cards ready, which will be checked. It is forbidden to bring extra guests without registration. If unauthorized guests are documented (by video recording of the access routes/photo documentation by staff), a penalty will be due, and a report will also be made. Will I incur additional costs? No. Electricity is generously included and if you use the jacuzzi and sauna moderately, you can get by with the included electricity costs. In addition, €0.55/KWh will be charged. Can I celebrate in the property? Yes, but moderately. The neighbors are working and want peace at night. You should also keep in mind that the villa is furnished to an absolutely high standard (cherry furniture, SieMatic kitchen, Italian tile flooring, it is not a guesthouse or youth hostel!) and you as a renter and contact person can be held fully liable for any damage incurred, even beyond the security deposit. But no one has anything against a family birthday with celebrations until the night, not even against guests who entertain themselves in the barbecue area on the weekend until the morning. We just don't want a group of young people jumping into the pool at night with boomboxes and yelling all the way to the village church. Can I use the fireplace and do I have to bring firewood? The living room has underfloor heating, so it quickly gets too hot in the room, you will probably not want to use the fireplace. Candles and tree slices are in the fireplace for decoration (see photo). You may still use the fireplace, firewood is available, but you are liable if you are not familiar with a fireplace use and, for example, close the exhaust flap when using (then the smoke pulls completely into the room, but the fire cannot be extinguished, a renovation would be due). I have small children and take responsibility myself, I am aware that the stairs are unsecured. Can we book? Yes, welcome! Is there an additional cost for using the Jacuzzi? No, the use of the Jacuzzi is included. The Jacuzzi is located in a private garden and is exclusively available to the booking guests. Is the villa a pure vacation property? No, we as a family commute between Cologne, Belgium and the Eifel, our now adult children like to use the villa to celebrate undisturbed with friends or to have a wellness day. We parents use the villa to enjoy nature, hike and unwind, drink a white wine in the Jacuzzi, sauna :-) The villa is fully furnished and not "bare" like a pure vacation property - everything is available here, so you do not have to bring much luggage.
