The space Discover heritage and comfort in this beautifully restored stylish 18th-century farmhouse, set on the edge of a historic village just 10 minutes from Avebury and the medieval market towns of Marlborough and Devizes. A curated blend of period character and contemporary design creates a timeless yet relaxed feel. Spend summer evenings in the landscaped private garden and barn, or winter nights on velvet sofas beside one of three fireplaces. The garden and barn are exclusively yours, with direct access to open countryside, the canal towpath and the Wiltshire Ridgeway’s iconic White Horse. Two well-behaved dogs are welcome. Five light-filled bedrooms overlook the garden: a master king with en-suite, a super-king (cot on request), a family room with king and single, an additional king and a cosy single. The generous kitchen features an Aga, electric oven, Nespresso machine, purified water system etc and is very well stocked — perfect for long breakfasts and relaxed suppers for up to 10 around the oak table or in the dining hall. Alternatively, stroll five minutes to the award-winning village pub for a drink or meal. A fabulous nearby farm shop and many independent shops in Devizes offer excellent local produce. Grocery deliveries can also be arranged. Personal recommendations, private chef services and in-house treatments are available on request. Please ensure deliveries are addressed to Grange Cottage, not The Grange. Guest access During your stay, the entire house and garden are exclusively yours to enjoy. Relax and dine in the open-ended barn area, perfect for soaking in the tranquil surroundings. You will access the property via a private drive with parking. Please note that storage areas inside the barn and greenhouse are not accessible to guests and all bedrooms are situated upstairs on the first floor. London Paddington is a 1 hour train journey to Pewsey station which is only a 15-minute drive away. Other things to note We warmly welcome up to two well-behaved dogs, with a small fee payable upon booking. Kindly ensure all dog waste is bagged and disposed of properly. A detailed welcome file will greet you upon arrival, providing essential information about the house, along with a curated list of local walks and recommendations for your stay. For your safety, a first aid kit and fire safety blanket are available in the kitchen. Fire extinguishers are located on both floors, as outlined in the safety card and risk assessment.
