Many places to visit nearby, walks, leisure, natural and built sites await you! 1 night booking available upon request only (Saturday night) The space The Sechetière cottage is a country house located in the Grand Perche on the edge of the Perche Regional Nature Park. It has been completely renovated by us, it is a haven of peace for lovers of calm and nature. In terms of equipment, everything has been thought out to offer you comfort and simplicity: - A fitted kitchen with dishwasher, oven, fridge with freezer section, microwave, traditional coffee maker and Senséo, kettle, toaster. Cookware and complete table service, blender, pressure cooker, children's dishes. You can combine cooking and conviviality around a raclette, crêpe party, stone-grilled meat. - A large air-conditioned living room serving a dining area with garden view and a sitting area with sofa in front of an old horse feeder, the wood stove is very popular on winter evenings for a friendly moment around the foosball table, board games or other… and in summer for its coolness and direct access to the terrace. - A second living room equipped with a sofa bed that can be used as a bed for 2 people, flat-screen TV, DVD player - Bathroom with large bathtub and changing table for toddlers. - separate toilet - laundry room with washing machine, ironing board and iron. Upstairs, 3 bedrooms - The "Bois de Rose" room, in a very cozy atmosphere, has a 140 cm bed for 2 people. - The "Campagne" room, spacious and very pleasant, is equipped with a bed for 2 people of 160 and is in a row with the "Savane" room - The "Savane" room, very popular with children for its cabin, but also with parents, includes 2 beds of 90 and a small balcony overlooking the countryside, ideal for families with young children. - Bathroom with shower, double vanity and changing table. Possibility to add a child bath if needed. - The landing room is a relaxation area, it is equipped with a sofa bed that can be used as a bed for 2 people, it is closed by a blackout curtain. - Separate toilet For your comfort, sheets, towels and linen are provided and included in the price, including for baby beds. The beds are made upon arrival. For babies: Everything has been designed for children! Changing table, bathtub, high chair, folding bed with bed linen and swaddle provided, safety barriers upstairs and on the ground floor, children's dishes, games, toys, books, etc. The cottage is also suitable for professionals, as we can accommodate up to 5 people in a single room, or 6 people in single beds. Internet connection throughout the house, teleworking possible, several dedicated workspaces. Possibility to connect a printer and add a table if needed. Please don't hesitate to ask! You can park your vehicles, including 2 under a shed - Weekday check-in from 4 p.m., check-out 10 a.m. - weekend check-in from 4 p.m., check-out until 6 p.m. on Sunday Don't hesitate to contact us for more information on check-in and check-out times. - No place to put groceries or just want to start the vacation calmly, don't hesitate to ask me to pick up a drive at Intermarché Illiers-Combray. Other things to note - The house is non-smoking. You will have the outdoors and a sheltered area. - Our animal friends are accepted within the limit of only 1 animal under 10 kg per stay, cat or dog except classes 1 and 2. As the floor is parquet, pets must remain on the ground floor. - Linens and towels are provided, beds will be made. For toddlers, baby equipment (bed, changing table, bathtub, high chair, safety gate, bed linen) are available. - We provide wood for the wood burning stove. - Post office, bakery, grocery store, restaurant, laundry with washing machine and dryer 5 minutes from the gîte. - All shops, drive-through and local products 15 minutes away. - For your arrival, I can pick up your drive order in Illiers-Combray or Brou if you wish, if the order has been paid online, please let me know, I will be happy to provide you with this service. - no suitable socket for charging electric vehicles, a terminal is available in Combres, 5 minutes from the cottage. - a security deposit of €300 will be requested upon arrival. - During your stay, depending on my availability, I will be happy to offer small activities for children: gardening, creative hobbies...
