There is a games room with pool table, darts board etc...Two fully equipped kitchens of which one outside with stunning views. The Villa: Cortijo El Moran sleeps up to 8 persons. There are 3 large air-conditioned bedrooms with king size beds and en-suite bathroom and one large air-conditioned master bedroom with king size bed, en-suite bathroom and private terrace. There is a large living room with open fire and library, Satellite TV and large sofa's and lounge chairs. Wifi is available both inside and outside. Towels and Linen are provided. There are two fully equipped kitchens, one inside with an adjacent dining area and an outside kitchen and terrace with spectacular views. The large garden invites for relaxing walks through olive and oak trees and palms and features several relaxing spots with stunning views. The pool (12 x 5 meters) has a large sun deck with Skagerrak sun beds and a tree shaded terrace with lounge chairs. Location and Activities: Cortijo El Moran is located between Gaucin and Jimena de La Frontera, 1,5h drive from Malaga International Airport. The surrounding area is famous for the Pueblos Blancos (white villages) and a fascinating history of conflict with the Moors. The famous cities Cadiz, Jerez, Sevilla, Cordoba, Granada and Ronda are within easy reach of the villa and the immediate surroundings invite for to stunning hike and bike tours. El Hacho is a stunning mountain right next to the village of Gaucin. The hike from Gaucin Villa to the peak takes about 1-2 hours. It's a steep climb but the perseverant will be rewarded with an amazing 360° panoramic view overlooking all nearby valleys, mountains, rivers and villages. Ronda sits in the heart of the Serrania de Ronda, is about half an hour drive from the villa. Surrounded by lush river valleys and sitting above a deep ravine, the bridge over it literally takes your breath away. Jimena de la Frontera is one of the most charming of Andalucia's small towns, its Moorish castle presiding over a village well known for its traditional houses, narrow winding streets, bars and restaurants. Between Spain and the African coast, Gibraltar is a unique destination with a life that goes beyond its surface. The monolithic Rock of Gibraltar entices tourists with its lush greenery and the friendly Barbary Macaques ubiquitous to the area. Beneath its looming exterior lay the Galleries, a veritable labyrinth of underground passageways running through the Rock. Above ground there is also plentiful tax-free shopping, as well as numerous beaches. One of the main attractions of the Costa del Sol is the variety of beaches. Málaga province is bathed by the waters of the Mediterranean Sea and boasts a total of 161 km of coast, running from Manilva to Nerja. The influence of the sea and more than 320 days of sun each year has a noticeable effect on the character of its inhabitants, their lifestyle and their cuisine. At the western end of the Costa del Sol of Malaga, but actually within the municipality of San Roque in Cadiz Province is Sotogrande, one of the most luxurious sports and residential developments in Europe. Designated a Unesco Biosphere reserve in 1977, the Sierra de Grazalema was declared the first natural park in Andalucia in 1984 and is one of Spain's most ecologically outstanding areas. The 51,695 ha park is famous for its spectacularly rugged limestone landscape of cliffs, gullies, caves and gorges. By far the most impressive gorge is the Garganta Verde, with its exceptional griffon vulture colony and rocky walls that tower vertically for 400m. At 1,092 metres, Aljibe is the highest peak in the Alcornocales Park and is a fairly serious undertaking but the reward of stunning panoramic views is well worth the effort.
