The Icelandic male name „Trausti“ means a man that can be trusted. A „stofa“ means a living room so the translation of the name of this apartment means Trausti´s living room. The reason for the name is that a man used to live in this part of the house and his name is Trausti. He certainly can be trusted as he is one of Iceland’s most known meteorologist / weather forecaster.
