Ideally located 15 mins from Granada and the Alhambra, 25 mins from the ski slopes and 50 mins to the beaches. Village facilities and surrounding area: There are a number of local shops in the village including three supermarkets, a pharmacy, two banks and local artisan and craft shops. There are a number of wonderful and characterful bars and restaurants. Many of these have terraces to enjoy the views and and swimming pools for summer guests to enjoy. There are also a number of play parks for children to amuse themselves in! There is a local campsite which has an excellent restaurant and swimming pool. Golf: There are two golf courses in Granada and another is to be completed soon. The Granada Club de Golf is 18 holes and no booking is necessary. It is approximately 30 minutes away. The apartment was beyond our wildest expectations, and far better than anything we have stayed in previously. The view from the balcony is stunning. We made it up to Sierra Nevada on Christmas Eve, Christmas Day and Boxing Day - the children played snowballs on Christmas Eve, then on Christmas morning while the turkey was cooking we went up again so that they could do some tobogganing (fresh snow had fallen overnight), then on Boxing Day we all went up yet again.
