Book a room in our three-bedroom cabin – and enjoy our wonderful cabin; with my wife, our 12 y/o dog Tiger, and me.... as your hosts! Eric and Dheerata are gourmet cooks, and cook Vegetarian and Vegan, as well. If you are lucky, Dheerata will make you one of her internationally famous Mauritius (a little island in Africa in the Indian Ocean) specialties. If you want Eric or Dheerata to cook any meals, please let us know in advance, if possible, (additional charge for meals). Breakfast and dinner meals are available with advanced notice at additional charge. You get FULL use of the Spa Room when you book a room! You can book your "private time Spa Room use”, or share open hours with Eric and Dheerata and no more than four other guests. The Spa Room is all wood with 18’ ceilings, was designed to create a space of relaxation and peace. An early morning meditation in the spa room, (meditation cushions and mats are available), a walk on the treadmill, use the multi-function workout machines, do your sit ups on our provided mats, use our aqua rowing in the swim spa for non-impact upper body workout, and don't forget to do your Low impact aerobics in the warm water of the spa! Then sit in the sauna and purge your body of toxins as you read a book from our library, and then a jump in the cool water of the outside pool, (When open in season), or a cool dip in the back porch outside shower! ( the Swedes jump into the snow- hey this is Florida!) is a wonderful way to start! An oasis in the woods! A 3,000-sq. ft. log cabin on 5 fenced in acres. Relax. The log cabin has 18 ft high ceilings in the living room and spa room and gives you a sense of openness not often found in many places. The entire cabin has UV hospital grade air filtration system for the health protection of ourselves and guests! Bedroom #1 has a Queen Bed and overlooks the front and side yards and looks out on woods and fields, and one does not have to look hard to see bunnies and deer and more! The Cabin is Pet and Children Friendly as well! As our guest you will have FULL use of the Spa Room, grounds and Outside pool (in season) , kitchen, Living room, dining room, laundry room, bathroom, barbecue grill, fire pit and more! • You have use of the 900 sq. ft SPA ROOM! Relax at the cabin, or use this as your base for, river tubing, kayaking, fishing, hiking. Or go snorkeling/scuba cave diving in incredible natural Springs. With three main rivers all within 20 minutes, whether you want to rent a kayak or canoe and go "Way Down Upon the Suwanee River" or sit on an inner tube and float for an hour or 6 hours down the Santa Fe River, or paddle board the various Springs, or just go swimming in the Springs they are ALL close and accessible. One town over is designated the BEST freshwater cave diving in the US! Less than ONE HOUR from Gainesville, 2 ½ hours from Tampa, 4 ½ hours from Atlanta! Less than ONE hour to the Gulf of Mexico and 1 1/2 hours to the Atlantic Ocean. And if you must..only 2 ½ hours from Disney! AND THEN THERE IS THE REST OF THE Cabin! The ENTIRE Log Cabin Chalet is on 5 peaceful private acres, with high-speed internet access throughout the cabin and on all porches. The kitchen is fully stocked and ready to use. Just bring your food, spices and recipes! Cook your own meals or have Eric or Dheerata cook them for you at an inexpensive extra charge. Or feel free to use the gas barbecue on the side porch! Enjoy reading or watching our smart TV in the Living Room, relax in the Spa Room, or feel free to use our large table to do whatever work you may need to do! The entire cabin is high speed internet ready for your work and pleasure use. This is our home, and you are our guests. We look forward to your stay. Guest access Please use the kitchen as if it was your own. We have a 6 burner electric range, microwave, full size convection oven, and gas barbecue grill for guests to use. I encourage guests to treat the kitchen as your own! You are welcome to use all of our cooking utensils as well. The front room is the living room for talking and reading, and the front porch is a wonderful place to watch the deer run by. The spa room is off the laundry room and can be used during the posted hours.The house DOES have wireless internet, so you can use your I pads and phones to watch whatever you may want in the privacy of your bedroom. There is a shared bathroom downstairs. Please be considerate of the other guests. You will be provided one bath towel and one spa towel per person, If you need more, please do not hesitate to ask. During your stay I'll usually be here with my dog Tiger. . Let me warn you his name is just the opposite of his personalitiy; Tiger is Not a tiger, more like a lickasauris and a very loving animal. I I usually spend my time in my office/suite, but am always available to assist if I am around . If you want privacy, let me know and i will do everything possible to provide you the ultimate privacy. Want to talk? We are all here to relax, so no arguing or finger pointing, just fun and hopefully interesting conversation. I have been in the business world for over 20 years as well as an activist/writer/ organizer for various causes, and currently my biggest cause is making sure that you have an enjoyable time here! Other things to note Each room is for TWO people. All pets must be approved prior to booking and there is an additional pet cleaning fee. Please read the rules of the house.
