With amazing views of the Yorkshire Dales this is a perfect retreat. We are a quiet community here surrounded by nature. A big comfy bed and candles enables you to relax with your loved one. Toilet, shower, kitchen area, settee and dining set. There is a balcony to sit outside with Hot tub. Toast, eggs, tea and coffee facilities are provided. A network of paths go through our working farm with river and forest and higher land to explore together. Perfect for walking and bird watching. We are in the Nidderdale AONB with many wildlife species around the farm so guests are required to adhere to certain rules around noise and behaviour. We are not a venue for partying couples. Thank you. The treehouse has one main room and a bathroom with shower, sink and toilet. The king sized bed is very comfortable! Table and chairs for eating and drinking. Kitchen area with gas cooker, fridge freezer, toaster and kettle. On the treehouse decking, over looking stunning views is a hot tub. It’s covered above so can be used all year around. The hot tub can be used strictly between 6pm and 11pm only. Dressing gown and towels are provided. We strictly do not allow music around the hot tub. This is a quiet area with lots of wildlife and other guests that don't appreciate being disturbed by loud music. Thank you. Included are tea, coffee, juice, bread, eggs, butter and conserves for toast. There are breath taking views of Nidderdale from your tree balcony. Foot paths go through the farm yard in all four directions leading to high ground, the river and the forest. Just a 40 minute walk along the river takes you to the small town of Pateley bridge. This is very much a retreat from life. All the electronics you need are provided. Kettle, fridge freezer, toaster, hob, oven, lights, heating, hot water and a hair dryer. There are USB and C fit points for charging your mobile devices but no additional plug sockets so leave your TVs, hair straighteners, ice and rice makers at home. X Guest access Guests will have access to the treehouse, parking and a huge network of footpaths, river and woods to explore. Other things to note - You cannot use hot tubs if you have heavy fake tan or hair dye. It literally dyes the tub and filters. Please ensure neither are used on the run up to your stay. Thank you. - the accomodation sleeps 2 adults above the age of 18 only due to insurance. No under 18s. - There is only space for one car at the accommodation. - there are no food delivery services in the area. - Vaping ok inside and out. We DO NOT accept cigarette smoking at all, inside or out due to cigarette ends being dropped in the fields around the Treehouse and being toxic to animals and the lingering smell it leaves in the accommodations. Thank you. - No barbecues at the treehouse for obvious reasons please. There is no where around the treehouse to set up a barbecue that's not made of wood. - STRICTLY no music outside. We are in the Nidderdale Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty and the majority of our guests come for that reason. They come to relax surrounded by nature. They don't come to listen to someone else's music. Thank you. - We are in a very quiet peaceful location with other properties dotted around the farm. At night we have little light pollution so star gazing is amazing and you can hear nothing at night but the owls and the occasional fox bark.. we DO NOT tolerate loud, drunk people. That's not what we are about here. If you are planning on partying, please keep scrolling as this is not your place. We are very much geared towards couples who want to enjoy the country side during the day and relax in the peace and quiet in the evenings. - We are a working beef and sheep farm so there will be animals in the fields around the treehouse. - We cannot accept dogs due to farm stock and farm dogs. There are no exceptions to this rule. - We are unable to offer earlier check ins for baggage drop off earlier in the day I'm afraid due to the fact it's a working farm. - Why do we limit the hot tub to evenings?: So the main reason is cost. We never put our prices up through the cost of living crisis as we wanted to stay affordable for guests. So we had to limit the use of hot tub as it uses £7 of electricity an hour in use. We limit it to 5 hours a day. A lot of hosts around here put a 2 hour limit on or hugely increased their prices but we thought that was a bit harsh. I haven't actually increased my price in 9 years so it is due a rise at some point but it's a tough one as the price rises effect everyone not just small businesses. The other reasons are historically (before the limit was put on) we had some trouble from guests staying in all day drinking and causing trouble. I think we are now trying to appeal to couples wanting to go out walking and exploring during the days and relaxing at night. We haven't had any problems since changing the hot tub use to just evenings. We had one couple that ended up fighting with each other and smashed the huge windows at the front as they were drunk, as well as lots of vomit to clean up. It's not nice when we get that kind of guests. :-( The other thing is that the longer guests are in the tub the more skin comes off and the filters don't last as long. As well as that same situation with guests being drunk and dropping alcohol and food and all sorts in the hot tub. It's such a shame when such a small percentage of people ruin it for everyone else. But the main reason is the cost. If there is a night that you are heading out and don't want to use it then you are welcome to use it during the day instead PROVIDED YOU LET US KNOW. As long as the time is limited to 5 hours. As long as we know in advance so we can change the cleaning cycles accordingly. :-) xx - in situations of severe drought the hot tub may not be available. - the hot tub is being changed for a 2 seater hot tub in the spring of 2026. The same type, electric, jets, lights etc. - We are not contactable after 7pm except in the case of an emergency due to being up early on the farm. - We don't encourage frying foods in any of our accommodations for obvious reasons. The accommodations are mostly open plan so fat and oil particles in the air over time ruin the carpet and other soft furnishings.
