Ajstrup Oase shelter

Outdoor shelter with room for 2 people, with futon bed. (An extra bed can be arranged.) Note: The shelter is outdoors. Neighbor to a beautiful greenhouse with 2 seats and a small table: it is warm and nice here even when the weather is cold. Right next to an untouched forest valley with a small stream. Here often come roe deer, foxes, hares, many birds including owls, sparrows, buzzards, pheasants, and others. View of Aarhus Bay towards Mols and Sletterhage lighthouse. There may be some other guests up in the house itself. The space Oasen's shelter is quite unique and built of solid wood. The roof is made of brick and there is a ceiling so it is tight and dry. When you lie in the shelter, you have a view of the garden and down over the fields towards the sea. During rush hour, there may be some noise from a nearby road when people drive to and from work. Otherwise, it's pretty quiet most of the time. Guest access The shelter consists of a room that is open to the outside. It may be agreed that you may use the greenhouse to sit in. However, this must be agreed with the host beforehand. Other things to note PUBLIC TRANSPORT BUSSES Please be aware of how Flex Trafik busses are used! Danish bus companies sometimes use a system called Flex Trafik to provide connections where the number of passengers is less than warrents use of full-size busses. A Flex Trafik bus connection is ONLY possible if ordered at least 1 hr in advance! When you check the timetable, look for the words Flex Trafik, and follow instructions. You can book online or by phone, during open hours which are 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Ring 8740 and 8300. You must state your busroute (ie 302) where you will change from bus or Light railway to Flex Trafik (ie Malling station) and which bus stop you intend to reach. (ie Ajstrup Strandvej 26) as well as the time of arrival at your change point. Yes, I agree it is a cumbersome and complicated system, but it is what there is. ;o) Good luck, at least it is cheap!
