Newgate cottage is a charming newly renovated historic 17th century Norfolk flint cottage. Located next to the grade 1 listed St Margaret's church, it has fabulous views of the church and over the green. It is a short walk from the village centre with its famous deli, pottery, smoke house , cafe and windmill. The 3 swallows pub is 20m away and the Wiveton Bell is a 10 minute walk away. A 5 minute drive to the beach gives access to world class birdwatching and the seal colony at Blakeney Point. The space The cottage has accommodation on 3 floors; the groundfloor has a modern kitchen /diner extension facing onto the garden, a sitting room with a wood burning stove and games cupboard and a single bedroom, all with underfloor heating. Outside is an enclosed front yard, a rear patio with outdoor dining area leading onto the garden and the church. The family bathroom is on a half landing leading up to the first floor which has 2 doubles (1 ensuite) and a twin bedoom; The second floor has a cosy single bedroom and a double bedroom; they share a separate shower/loo bathroom with a lovely view over the church field (keep an eye out for the owl and the deer at dawn and dusk). Guest access The cottage is detached and is all available for guests to enjoy. Other things to note We have lovely quiet neighbours in this village community and this is not a suitable venue for a loud party or gathering.
