Birdsong single room, b&b, with use of whole house

Relax & unwind in quiet style and comfort but not so far from London ,a 35 minute train journey. Leighton Buzzard with many pubs,restaurants, shops & twice weekly market is within walking distance.The Grand Union Canal is very close with an English 18th Century canal side pub Rushmere park is at the end of the road. Many historic attractions nearby, including Bletchley Park WW2 code breaking centre, woburn Safari park & 3 spectacular golf courses.Waddesdon Manor & Ascott House worth a visit The space Birdsong is a large family home with a unique style & character. To the front the property is approached by a 150 yard gravel drive, with space for 3 cars, lined with a small orchard, many fruit trees, glorious oaks, camellia and hydrangea. The rear of the property allows private access to mature Knolls Wood. Woodland views are enjoyed from inside the house by a large tastefully designed conservatory bringing the outside inside. The house has five bedrooms. All are available to guests. The downstairs area is large open plan and could comfortably fit 2-8 house guests.We live in a converted loft extension so share a front door but the rest of the house is just for our guests. Guest access Guests have access to all elements of the house including kitchen, garden and their own private rooms. We would like all our guests to feel they are at home away from home. We offer a continental breakfast. A fully cooked English breakfast is available upon request. During your stay My husband and I live in a self contained flat at the top of the house. We share the front door access but all the 2 lower floors are for the sole use of our guests. We are here if needed but equally appreciate our guests' privacy.We have a travel cot & high chair. We also have various board games and childrens toys. Other things to note We are within a short walk of Leighton buzzard & 15 minute drive to Milton Keynes. Excellent food & shopping. We are on the doorstep of the 'Greensand Ridge Walk' This a premier footpath through the historic Bedfordshire landscape which takes walkers or cyclists to Woburn Park with it's famous safari park & one of the top 5 golf courses in England.Mead Open Farm is a 10 minute drivr.The Grand Union Canal is within walking distance of the property. Whipsnade zoo, several National Trust properties & Silverstone for Formula 1 Race Track. Bletchley Park the World War ll secret code and cypher centre is only a few miles away.Luton airport is a 30 minute drive .
