Description
Oxton Hill Pond View is a fabulous self contained shepherds hut located on our farm. With its own enclosed private garden the hut has an ensuite bathroom and kitchenette. Use the bridle paths on our farm which link to Southwell and neighbouring villages or visit the historic Minster town of Southwell or Sherwood Forest. Bring your bikes as you can cycle for miles maybe to the River Trent, or just enjoy the rural walks. We also offer carp fishing in summer. Adults only. The space Our hut includes a wood burning fire, fridge, kettle, crockery, induction hob and utensils. Bed/sofa (double). Bedding and towels are provided plus soap and shampoos. There is a stock of essentials including coffee, tea, sugar, milk plus an induction hob to do your main cooking on. A gas BBQ can be booked for outside in your enclosed garden and a combination microwave is provided also inside. You can enjoy the country air and eat outside in the garden of your hut which includes a patio area with table and chairs. Dogs are very welcome (please see notes section for dog guests). There is a £10 per dog cleaning charge for dog guests (payable on arrival). Guest access As part of the farm guests have access the wider farm which includes stunning countryside. The bridleways and footpaths run across our land and lead to the towns of Southwell and Epperstone. The two fishing lakes/ponds are stocked with carp so bring your rods in the summer and enjoy the peace. Bring wellies in the winter so you can explore. Other things to note The huts are adult only, no guests under 18. Dogs Dogs are very welcome but please don't leave them unattended in the huts. we can provide crates if needed. There is an additional cleaning charge of £10 per dog or guests with dogs and a dog damage deposit of £100. (Refundable after visit) Please refrain from letting dogs sleep on the beds or blankets. Dog poop must be disposed of. None dog items! Please leave the hut as you found it i.e. clean and ready for the next visitor (apart from laundry of course). Please bring wellies or boots for around the farm as it can get muddy in winter. Leave the key in the key lock on departure. The huts are on our rural farm so guests arriving in taxis must bring sufficient food for their stay as shops and pubs are a short drive away. Jo
