Little red cottage among horses in the mountains

A comfortable cottage in the pasture, among grazing horses - surrounded by mountains, in a large green area for relaxation and fun. An ideal place for families with children or a group of friends. The ground floor has a large dining room with a fireplace, kitchenette, a bathroom, a toilet, and 4-person bedroom. In the attic two bedrooms with 3 and 4/5 beds. The space Our houses at Magic Mountain are dedicated especially to those who enjoy outdoor activities, and like to spend quality time with their friends, or family by the bonfire with the magnificent view to Jelenia Góra Valley. It is a real countryside experience with crazy-busy non-conventional owners, and interesing guests, that are happy to meet others here. 90% of our guests come back to us several times per year, to experience different seasons here, and also to travel around in this area that is super rich in outdoor acitvities, but also exclusive palaces and stunning hikes in Karkonosze mountains. All our locations offer simple, but tidy interriors, without TV sets, with internet if needed, and roaming animals, that can poke through the window, or visit you - like our dogs who often accompany our guests in their walking or climbing trips. If you want to experience a real rural life, far from civilization (4 km to nearest show, but the brewery is closer!), then this is a place for you. The Red Cottage is located in the middle of the horses' pastry, fenced and sourrounded by horses, that likes to stroll by the house. It has magnificent view to the Jeleniogórska Valley and is next to the paddock for horse training and learning. It has large dining area at the ground floor with shower and separate toilett, kitchen annex, and a 4-person bedroom. At the attick there are two smaller bedrooms - one for 3 persons and another one for 4, but 1 extra bed can be added. The whole house fits 11 persons in the bedrooms. It has also two additional sleeping placed at the folding coach at the ground floor. The kitchen is well equipped for cooking - with toster, tea kettle, coffee maker and also all sort of pans and pots, cuttlery and plates. We encourage you to read the descriptions of the surroundings at our other two offers - the Barn, Grandma House. Guest access Guests stay in an independent house, located at some distance from the other two buildings for guests and the house of the owners. On the ground floor there is a spacious dining room with a kitchenette, a bathroom with a toilet, and a separate toilet. Adjacent to the dining room is a 4-person bedrrom, with its own door. In the dining room is also a separate place for children to play with toys, books ... On the attic floor two bedrooms: one for 3 persons, and the other own for 4 persons (additional bed can be added). There are also shelves for personal items. The kitchen is very well equipped with kitchen appliances - 3-ring gas stove, toaster, fridge, electric kettle, all pots and pans. The house is heated only with a wood-burning fireplace. In autumn and winter we provide wood for chimney for additional fee, depending on how much wood has been used. In addition, the bathroom has a radiator. Therefore, we advise against stays with very small children during the autumn and winter, unless the guests have experience in that aspect and such simple conditions are not a problem for them. In the summer it is certainly easier. Please contact us if you plan to come with very young children. The house has a porch / terrace with views of the Jelenia Gora valley and is located directly at the paddock for horses. The house is located in a pasture, but has a fence so that the horses do not go directly to the house. There is a place for bonfire in the area, a brick grill is available for guest to use. Of course, we invite you to classes with horses (work from the ground, riding in the forest and meadows) and climbing activities. We have 20+ horses here. We practice natural horsemanship meaning that our horses spent 24/7 in open air, and we reject abusive training methods. We do not organize activities with horses such as learning how to ride or trips to forests. You may want to spend time with the horses at the meadows and hang out there as long as you want. We ask you kindly not to feed the horses. HELPING at the FARM Many of our guests are happy to engage in general maintenance of the farm that includes organizing wood, collecting horse sheet or helping in fixing the fence. Should you or your children be interested to help us in different works at the farm, please let us know. Other things to note Magic Mountain, where the Red Cottage is located, is a place friendly to animals and people. As the Foundation, we also conduct social activities for various groups with problems, especially with young people and children with disabilities or kids with different social problems. Therefore, it may happen that during the summer stay we will host such groups in the barn. Our guests who come to us for several years now, know our groups and integrate with them well. Hence, we think that it is a value added at staying at our place. Also, the area that is available to everyone, is large and various people and groups do not interfere with each other. We appreciate peace, quiet and wonderful terrain here. Our guests are kindly asked to respect animals and other guests. You can come to us with your pets. Our two dogs (Wiosnek and Waszka) and half-wild cat Eleonora are also staying in the area. Due to the large number of animals (over 20 horses and dogs), respect for them and other people - guests and hosts - is important. We appreciate the nighttime singing around the campfire. On the other hand, we are less likely to invite people who like to party at night with very loud music from playing equipment.
