The garden is south-facing, and planted with two beautiful linden trees, a beautiful olive tree and lavender. The house has 5 bedrooms, 4 of which are available with Airbnb and can accommodate up to 10 people, and even up to 18 people with the 2 cottages that are 230 m2. Breakfast included. On the rest side, you will have 1 real giant bed for 2 people (180 x 200) and a sofa bed for 2 people (unfolded from the 3rd person, otherwise extra €10 if 1 person per bed) The shower room on the floor is reserved for you, separate toilet on the same floor. TELEWORKING: Possible to telework in all our rooms. BICYCLE: We also rent bicycles in Melun ATTENTION: In order to avoid any misunderstanding, the house does not accommodate parties or evenings. It is a place of rest to welcome you after your day of work, family meals, parties, or wedding. Guest access You have access to the equipped kitchen and dining room to prepare your evening meals if necessary, (oven, microwave, hob, refrigerator if you need to store some food or water). You also have access to our living room to read a book or watch TV. If you prefer a relaxing moment in the garden when the season allows, next to a beautiful olive tree and the scent of lavender, it's also possible! Bike / Hike: Passage of the Euro Vélo Voie 100 m along the Seine. The property is labeled Accueil Vélo 2021. So you can come by bike, they will be guarded and secured. You can also rent bikes (MTB, ATB, EAB (Electric Assisted Bikes)), we have 10 bikes for rent, contact us for rates. Melun is surrounded by several forests: The forest of Fontainebleau is the best known. Many hiking or biking trails are accessible and less than 7 km from the cottage. There is also the Bréviande Forest, Rougeau Forest, Buisson de Massoury among many others. The Bois-le-Roi Leisure Center is 30/35 min by bike. We have maps and guides available, and can advise you if necessary. During your stay In the evening after you've settled in, we'll be happy to offer you coffee, tea or herbal tea. We can also either chat or show you Melun, Fontainebleau (its Castle, its Forest, its climbing areas...), the surrounding villages, Barbizon, Vaux-le-Vicomte, but also Paris! We also know how to be discreet. If necessary, there is a place to park your car in the courtyard, otherwise parking is free on the street from 7 p.m. until 9 a.m. Free on Sundays. And there is also a very large free parking lot very close to the house. Other things to note In case of late arrivals, we can prepare an omelet or soup. Please let us know. For your information, the common areas are not yet completely redone (entrance hall, stairs, corridors).
