Relax with the whole family at this peaceful place to stay. Set over three floors, The Old Mill is full of character, with wooden beams which have been beautifully preserved. The local area offers excellent opportunities for walking, cycling or just taking in the lovely views of rolling hills and lush green meadows. Great days out can be had at the breathtaking Bannau Brycheinog National Park and gorgeous Elan Valley. The space Enter through the front door and to the left of the hall there is a convenient shower room, as well as a utility room and a storage room, which doubles as a dog room with cage available. Continue through to an outstanding open plan living area, with kitchen, dining area and a sitting area, excellently equipped with an American style fridge/freezer, a Rangemaster cooker and an oak dining table with plenty of room for the whole party. Walk up the oak stairs to the first floor and into the sitting room, offering comfortable seating, and a Clearview wood burning stove. A twin room is just to the rear of the sitting room. Continue up to the second floor and on your left is a double room, and another bedroom with a 4' double, for smaller members of the group. There is a king-sized bed in the master bedroom, which has a dual aspect. The bathroom completes the accommodation on this floor. Other things to note The nearest shop is at Crossgates service station (5 miles), Llandrindod is the nearest town (9 miles), which has a variety of shops including Aldi and Tescos. There are five stone steps from the parking area to the front door. The property is adjacent to a working farm, which is fenced off and separate, but please ensure dogs are kept on a lead whilst outdoors. Due to the stream in the garden and the Juliet balconies off the first floor sitting room, care should be taken and children should be supervised at all times. This property may not be suitable for those with limited mobility and is only partially ground floor.
