Our piece of land is located on Kaita Järvi– an about 8 km long and a few hundred meter wide lake – it is a small peninsula that looks to the south. That means: sun from morning to evening (if it shines). There right on the shore you find our log cabin, with sauna, bathroom, living room with open kitchen and two small bedrooms. A few meters next to it is a studio like guesthouse, the "Aita". It is also very cosy and comfortable, but provides no own bathroom. Village Savonranta is 5 km away. The space Our log cabin is personally furnished and fully equiped. The living room has a big fireplace and view to the lake. You have the possibility to watch finnish or german TV via Sat. Besides that you will find other technical equipments such as a sound system, Blueray Player including DVD Collection. The open kitchen is fully furnished and has very good cooking equipment. You will find a big wood stove and a small electrical oven with two ceramic hubs. Besides that a small dishwasher is part of the equipment. The main house has two small separate bedrooms. One with a double bed 140 x 200 cm and a second with a large single bed about 130 x 200 cm. The bathroom has access to the sauna where the shower is located. In the bathroom there is a top load washing machine available. Attached is a spacious sauna with window overlooking the lake. The house has a covered terrace where a wooden set of table and four chairs is located. In the outdoor area there is another seating group consisting of wooden benches and table directly on the lake. Next to it is a large outdoor grill with smoker. In front of the house, by the lake, is a wooden pontoon on which you can sit, lie down or get down on a ladder in the lake. In addition, there is a bicycle, two sun loungers, two SUP boards and a rowing boat. An electric motor can be rented for the rowing boat. For all who are interested we provide our fishing equipment as well as a fish trap. Please note the fishing regulations on site! Bed linen, towels, dish- and sauna towels are provided as well as firewood. Guest access All rooms of main and secondary building are accessible. Other things to note The tap water is suitable for washing etc. but is not drinking water. Drinking water is available in separate canisters. These can be refilled at any time for free at the supermarket in the village.
