Authentic Wooden House by the River with an Igloo

Welcome to an Authentic Lappish Wooden house with a unique character and location. After sauna spot the northern lights from the terrace and when you see them, head to the river, 200 meters from the house, for spectacular views of the Auroras without light pollution. Upon returning to the house drift to relaxation while enjoying the fireplace. Located within the city area, this is the perfect place to have a bit of distance from the tourist filled areas and experience the peace of Lapland. The space An intriguing and atmospheric wooden house built in the 1960's (100m2) has kept its original warm ambient and is decorated with love . Three bedrooms, a large bright living room with a fireplace, a fully equipped kitchen and a sauna that is always ready. A terrace with winter and northern light views and a spacious backyard for playing in the snow, small sledge playing and hanging in an igloo. (The picture of the igloo comes when there is enough snow to build it.) This location is new – please check the ratings of my previous Airbnb places. My standards on offering you an unique and unforgettable stay are high. Located 200 meters from the shore of the longest river in Finland, Kemijoki, and situated in a nice neighborhood, this traditional wooden house built in the 60´s has kept its original warm ambient. Guest access The whole house and the backyard are yours to enjoy! Other things to note The house is an ideal place for families, small groups or couples who want space and their own atmospheric time. The yard is an ideal place for children to play. Also the yard is an ideal place to swim in the snow directly from the sauna. In the yard there is an igloo (where you can stay) and a small creek opportunity. There are still no images of these because the place is new and there is no snow yet, the updates are coming! If you are not afraid of dressing in the 90's finnish-winter-fashion, you can borrow warm winter clothes and snowshoes from the house. From the terrace you can watch the Auroras, and if you see them there is an open park next to the house for better views, but for the best views of the skies is the Kemijoki Ice, that is only 200 meters away and there is virtually no light pollution, so the northern lights can be seen perfectly.
