Cozy studio apartment near city centrum

Three windows channel sunlight into our handsomely decorated 28m2 studio apartment in the basement of our lovely historic home. We are located only a 10 minute walk (800 meters) west of Örebro's central bus/train station. A private entrance and many amenities are designed to help you feel relaxed and secure. Some of these include fast wifi, kitchenette, refrigerator, microwave, TV, & basic cooking equipment… as well as free bicycles to help you explore beautiful Örebro. The space The outside door opens into an anteroom before you step into the studio apartment itself. Here you can hang up your coat, put on your slippers or grab something from the fridge. The studio apartment is cozy and tastefully decorated. It has three main living spaces: a kitchenette/eating area, a living room area, and a sleeping area. Of course, there is also an updated bathroom with shower. The studio is a basement apartment but dry and well lit with natural light from three windows. Note: The stairwell entry and gravel driveway renders the apartment unsuitable for guests with wheelchairs or mobility challenges. Guest access Your have your own private studio apartment which is 28m2 divided into several sub spaces. You enter from the stairwell on the side of east side of the house into an anteroom. From there you enter the large living space. The kitchenette has basic cooking equipment. The beds will be newly made when you arrive. There is a garden where you can bring your coffee out. Örebro boasts of its bicycle paths, both in town and along the river Svartån. It is an easy bicycle ride to Hästhagen where there is minigolf , frisbee golf , picnic tables etc. If you want to go for a picnic, perhaps by bike :) , there is a small backpack where you can put a thermos, cups , plates etc. There are also many nice places for picnics in Stadsparken (City park) Laundry Our laundry room can be made available if you stay for 5 days or more. Let us know if you need to do some laundry. Parking Unfortunately there is no guest parking available on the property itself but paid parking is available on our street Monday thru Friday. Street parking is free on weekends and from 20:01-07:59 on weekday evening. Parking is forbidden Tuesdays from 0-09:00. Free parking can normally be found on streets about a block away. Let us know if you come by car . We will be happy to show you. Smoking We thank our guests for not smoking anywhere on the property. What else would you like to know?? Other things to note If you have an infant we may be able to provide a travel crib and high chair. Let us know if you bring an older child and therefor need games, toys etc, Mattress? The exterior of our house is monitored 24/7 by video security, including the studio apartment's entryway. Because the apartment is in the basement the ceiling is a bit lower than normal. If you are taller than 2 meters you will need to mind your head, especially in the bathroom. Örebro is a bicycle town. Two bicycles can be made available to our guests at no charge. There are lot of bicycle trails both in town and outside. Nice parks and a river only 5 min bike ride from our house. Pack the picnic backpack and thermos etc provided for you and bicycle off to a nice picnic place in Hästhagen for example. Feel free to ask us fo ideas.
