Brook House Cottage is located adjacent to the village cricket pitch and within walking distance of the village of Markington with views of the countryside. Nicely presented open plan, self contained cottage with oak beams set in the beautiful Yorkshire Dales. A perfect place for relaxation and ideal for your staycation. It is a good base for everyone with Harrogate, Ripon and York on the doorstep. Fountains Abbey and Brimham Rocks just a few minutes drive away. Dogs welcome. The space The cottage is open plan with a fully equipped kitchen with nespresso coffee machine. As you go into the cottage there is a hallway which leads into the downstairs bathroom and open plan lounge, dining area and kitchen. From the hallway are the stairs leading up to the mezzanine where the bedroom is located that sleeps 2. Under floor heating and log burning fire. Towel rail in the bathroom. Secure private outdoor area with seating at the rear of the property. Fridge freezer and dining area which is located off the kitchen and leads to the outdoor area. Guest access The cottage has its own entrance. Guests have outdoor access to front of the cottage. There is a table and 2 chairs here to enjoy the sunshine in an evening and the views of the countryside. We have no neighbours. Secure outdoor area at rear. Other things to note There is a public foot path that runs at the front of the cottage which is part of the Ripon Rowel Walk. This is where the outdoor seating area is. When It’s cricket season there may be a cricket game to enjoy on a Saturday afternoon. We will arrange to cover the kitchen window with a guard to avoid broken windows. EV charging is not available. The cottage is deep cleaned in between each let. Thank you
