The Folly is a spacious studio annexe attached to a charming former mill, tucked beside a trout stream on the edge of Exmoor in North Devon. Sleeping up to 2 guests, it offers open-plan living with large glazed double doors opening into a beautifully furnished space filled with antiques and sumptuous fabrics. The well-equipped studio kitchen sits in one corner, complete with a circular table and chairs and a comfortable sofa nearby. The space The kitchen includes a ceramic hob, combination oven/microwave/grill, larder fridge with freezer compartment, toaster, kettle, cookware, utensils and lovely china, glass and cutlery. The bathroom features a double-ended roll top bath, a Victorian chandelier with dimmer, and a charming plumbed-in circular blue and white porcelain Georgian washstand with pitcher, plus a toilet. A television, DVD player and radio are discreetly placed, and wifi is available throughout, though please note there is no mobile phone reception due to the location. An iron, ironing board and hair dryer are provided. Electricity and central heating costs are included, with heating pre-programmed but adjustable to suit your preferences. Beautiful White Company bed linen, duvets and large fluffy towels are supplied, though guests should bring their own outdoor or beach towels. Tea, coffee, sugar and basic store cupboard items are provided, along with household sundries such as toilet rolls, washing-up liquid and tea towels. Outside, a large lawn bordered by the stream is available for guests' sole use, though it is not enclosed. A patio area beside the property has a small table, two chairs and a built-in barbecue, plus wooden sun loungers with comfortable cushions, perfect for relaxing to the sound of the stream. Parking for two cars is available beside the property, shared with two other holiday homes along the same private drive, each with its own parking and garden.
