Set alongside the stunning parkland surrounding Ickworth Estate and just minutes from Bury St Edmunds, it is the perfect base for countryside walks, family breaks, spa weekends, local weddings and business stays. Dog friendly and family friendly, House of Wilde offers a peaceful and comfortable retreat in a beautiful Suffolk countryside setting. The space House of Wilde is a self-contained barn style annex offering comfortable accommodation for up to 5 guests. The property includes two cosy double bedrooms tucked into the eaves, a ground-floor shower room, a comfortable lounge area and a practical kitchenette equipped with a two-ring induction hob, combi microwave oven and air fryer. An additional fold-out chair bed can accommodate a fifth guest if required, and a travel cot is available for younger visitors. French doors open onto a patio seating area, with access to the surrounding garden and outdoor spaces, creating the perfect setting to relax and enjoy the countryside. Guest access Guests have sole use of the self-contained annex, including the two bedrooms, shower room, lounge area and kitchenette. The annex is situated separately to the rear of our family home and has its own independent entrance. Guests are welcome to use the patio seating area directly outside the annex, together with the main garden areas and surrounding outdoor spaces. Ample off-road parking is available on the driveway during your stay. Other things to note Please note that the kitchenette is equipped with a two-ring induction hob, combi microwave oven and air fryer, but does not have a built-in oven or full-sized hob. The two bedrooms are located upstairs within the eaves, whilst the shower room is situated on the ground floor. We welcome well-behaved dogs. A maximum of two dogs is permitted as standard, although additional dogs may be considered by prior arrangement before booking. The property is located in a peaceful residential setting and is best suited to guests looking for a relaxing countryside stay. For those wishing to dine out, there are two village pubs within walking distance, although we recommend checking opening days and times in advance as these may vary throughout the year.
