Located in a quiet village on the edge of a bridleway with plenty of lovely country walks. We are also only a 15-minute drive away from Soho Farmhouse at Great Tew. Disability friendly, no steps and off-road parking. The space Lavender Lodge was converted into a self-contained annexe in November 2015. It has high quality bathroom and kitchen fittings and a zip linked 6ft-wide hotel quality double bed. The decor is modern and clean and guests can enjoy our large garden and terrace should they so wish. We have wheel chair access to the apartment if required and sympathetically designed shower grab rails that double as towel rails in the wet room. The toilet is also slightly raised. Guest access Access to Lavender Lodge is via its own front door. We have a code access key store to allow guests access if we are not available. We have private off street parking for our guests. Other things to note Clifton is close to the villages of Deddington and Aynho. The village of Deddington (1 mile away) is a bustling small market town which has a small supermarket , hotel, Chinese takeaway, coffee shop, florists, hairdressers, pubs , fantastic butchers/deli and a monthly farmers' market. The Deddington Farmers' Market is held on the last Saturday of the month. We are also only a 15-minute drive from the renowned Soho Farmhouse and make a good base for any members who want to spend the day there but stay off-site. One mile away is the England headquarters of RH interiors at Aynho Park. Open to the public, you can enjoy the RH interior collections, explore the historic gardens and enjoy three dining experiences - the Orangery, the Loggia and Conservatory, together with a wine lounge, tea salon and Juicery. The Oxford Canal and the canal side pub "The Great Western" is about half a mile away from Lavender Lodge. The local gastro pub is The White Horse at Kings Sutton which is located 3 miles away. Booking in advance at The White Horse is recommended. Another favourite is Duck on the Pond at South Newington about 5 miles away. We are also on the edge of the Cotswolds with everything that has to offer and less than 20 minutes away from Blenheim Palace at Woodstock.
