Beautiful two-room apartment in a newly restored sixteenth-century rustic building. It is very quiet: it can be reached on foot by a short path. The house is located in the center of the ancient medieval village of Rivoira, next to the community's wood-fired oven and near the ancient grape press. The town is located at an altitude of about 500 meters at the entrance to the Vigezzo Valley, and the building overlooks the beautiful Ossola valley, in front of Moncucco and Domobianca. The space The apartment is on the second floor. The building consists of three levels: a ground floor where there are the common areas, the entrance, the laundry room, the boilers and the cellar, a first floor with two separate apartments, and a second floor, where we live when we come to the valley. The apartment is accessed by a short staircase with a few stone steps. The house has just been restored with very philological criteria, recovering all the original materials of the 1500s (wooden beams, objects, stones, fireplaces) and the added materials are suitable for the environment (untreated larch and oak woods, lime-finished walls, original local furniture of the 18th/19th century) while still allowing maximum comfort in a perfectly functional environment according to modern standards. Guest access Guests will have access to the large terrace in front of the entrance, the service and laundry area on the ground floor, the characteristic cellar close to the rock, and the entrance corridor of the apartment on the first floor.
