It is the starting point of a signposted network of bike paths. Unique sunsets in the garden with wide views over the fields. The cities of DIKSMUIDE, VEURNE and BRUGES are nearby. The space The HUIS WESTENKIM is serviced with a special cleaning protocol because of the coronavirus pandemic. The house has a very cozy living room with original paintings by a well-known Flemish painter, 2 sofa beds, pull-out table, fake fireplace wood stove at the touch of a button heated with gas, individually adjustable heat, new Astra satellite television, 2 bedrooms (1 with master bed, the other with 2 single beds and TV) - 2 bathrooms, 1 kitchen, 1 utility room, a covered terrace overlooking the west with beautiful sunsets and an open terrace by the pond. The house has thermal insulation inside and can therefore be used all year round. Guest access Approx. 900 m² fenced garden, car parking space within the fence. In a shed there are 4 bicycles which Roland provides by arrangement. Fee 10 euros per day for all Other things to note There is no smoking in the house. The garden is a bird paradise with rare bird species (kingfisher, owls Oehoe, Bosuil, woodpecker, Valk ..) There are also shady places in the garden under the 4 linden trees. Wide view over the fields, as it is the last house in the village. At the church there is a small playground. From the house you go right past a wild rose hedge over a small bridge into the meadow landscape with many walking or cycling paths along small canals.
