Cosy guestroom, separate entrance, town center

Welcome to the heart of Middle Baden, at the foot of the Black Forest and its highest mountain, the Hornisgrinde! Our cozily furnished guest room with separate entrance in the courtyard and private small bathroom is the ideal location for single travelers or couples who want to explore our beautiful region, are passing through, want to visit friends and family, are on a business trip or are completing a training or internship in one of the numerous companies in the region. The space Our house is located in the old town center of the municipality of Ottersweier. It is an old craftsman's cottage and was probably built in the middle of the 19th century. Our spacious guest room is housed in a later annex, which has a separate entrance and is accessible via our courtyard. It is of course lockable. The room is equipped with a large, comfortable double bed (190 x 200 cm). Table, two chairs, a cozy reading chair and a wardrobe complete the living room. A small kettle as well as coffee/tea, plates, cutlery, glasses and cups are at your disposal. However, there is no cooking option (no kitchenette). Free and fast internet via Wi-Fi is available. The room has a private mini bathroom with toilet, shower (70 x 70 cm) and small sink. Free parking is available on the street or very close by in public parking lots. Bakery, butcher, pharmacy, restaurants and other shops are a few minutes' walk away. There is also a bus stop (Ottersweier Kirche) from which buses run regularly to Bühl train station or Offenburg. But also a supermarket, discount store and a drugstore are only about 1 km away. Ottersweier is a municipality at the foot of the Black Forest and is located between the charming small towns of Achern and Bühl. The spa town of Baden-Baden can be reached by car in half an hour, as can Karlsruhe/Baden-Baden Airport (FKB). Strasbourg in neighboring Alsace can also be reached in less than an hour by car. Our region has a lot to offer: Between the Rhine Valley, hilly vineyards and the Black Forest National Park, you can experience a lot of nature as well as culture. Since we like to be active outdoors ourselves, we can give you many tips for hiking, biking, paddling and other outdoor activities in our region. We are also happy to provide information on wine, enjoyment and culture of our region. As we are passionate motorcyclists ourselves, we have many recommendations for bikers, both in the Black Forest and in the Vosges. We love our region and look forward to inspiring you too! Guest access Parking is available in front of the house on the street. If these are occupied, we will gladly give you information on where you can park your car close by free of charge. Other things to note HOUSE-RULES We are a non-smoking household, so smoking is not allowed No pets No parties/events. No cooking with your own cooking appliance. Sorry, but our room is not suitable for babies and toddlers. The furnishings are not child safe!
