Description
Spend your days in a traditional Finnish log cabin with a grass roof. Step outside and be enveloped by rhododendrons and enjoy sitting in front of a fire pit or a BBQ amongst trees and nature. The main room is for sleeping and living with a super-king size bed, table, TV, 2 easy chairs. The cabin has a fully equipped kitchen and a bathroom. Cabin is not fenced in. Adjacent to Ringwood Forest where you will find a cycle trail, Moors Valley Country Park, a golf course and a lake. The space The cabin has everything you'll need to stay comfortably. It is particularly suitable for nature lovers, with a fireplace, BBQ and garden access for guests to enjoy the open forest air. Enjoy the daffodils on the roof in March, the bluebells in April and wildflowers in the summer. The super king size bed will be made up with a double duvet per default. Please let us know if you'd rather have 2 single duvets, so that 2 friends can easily share the cabin too :) Parking availability for one car. We are dog-friendly but please notice that the cabin itself is not fenced in. The cabin now has its own little "Hobbit" wood burner which creates a lovely and warm atmosphere in the cabin on a cold winter night. HOT TUB: EXTRA CHARGE - Piilopirtti has its own wood-fired hot tub. Please speak to us if you would like to use it (extra charge). Please note: If we have minus degrees and our hose pipes are frozen, we might not be able to fill/clean our hot tubs and any money paid will be refunded. Same is the case for any other circumstances that are out of our control ( for example hose pipe bans). SAUNA - We have a wood-fired sauna next to a small plunge pool (not heated/not open all year round). EXTRA CHARGE. The pool can be used any time when open unless someone has booked the sauna. Please note: Pool is not heated and not open all year round. We have other Finnish log cabins on site. The cabin is about 50m from Horton Road which can be busy at times. Guest access We live on site and are able to welcome guests in person when ETA is communicated in advance. If we are not around, we 'll ensure that the key is in the door and guests can always contact us via phone should they have any questions. We will swing by to introduce ourselves once back. Other things to note Our Suomi Cabins are self-catering cabins. We only provide some instant coffee and tea bags to start you off. Please also bring your own toiletries. Firewood and charcoal can be purchased on site. Please contact us for prices. We have 2 travel cots/highchairs available for all our Suomicabins. If they are booked already, we will not be able to offer you a travel cot for your stay. Piilopirtti has a wood burner. Please don't use when infants and /or small children are in cabin.
