My place is close to public transport and nightlife. You’ll love my place because of the location, the people, the ambiance, the outdoors space and the neighborhood. Cabs are readily available 24 hours a day to take you anywhere you want to go. If you want to experience Gabs like a local this is the place to be.My place is good for couples, solo adventurers, business travelers, families (with kids), and big groups. We offer Airport connections for an extra fee. Meals are provided on request. The Space Rooms - Air-conditioned Ensuite - You will have your own private Bathroom and toilet - Each room can fit two people comfortably - Each room has its own TV with Satellite Channels - Each room has a table and Chair suitable for typing or just working on your laptop - Two of our rooms have private Access and the rest have shared access into the main house but all rooms have their own keys. - Washing machine and ironing board available, unrestricted usage. Optionally we can take care of your laundry for you for an extra fee. Detergent provided free of charge. There is also a laundromat located a few minutes walk from our property. Mini Business center You will have access to our printer for color printing, scanning and copying. For reasonable usage this will all be free of charge. We also have a desktop computer with all the latest word processing applications and internet access, every guest will have access to this free of charge. Cleaning Cleaning Lady come in daily Outdoors Our house is located within a large yard, paved with trees, Suitable for kids to play outside. We have an outdoor smoking area for smokers. -We have an outdoor braai/BBQ area where you can braai while enjoying a glass of wine in our Gazebo.Wood and charcoal is provided free of charge Outdoor sitting area - You can relax and play cards or board games with friends or family Outdoor wood stove - For a trip to a bygone era you can fire up the coal stove and prepare a meal by the fire. Fire and charcoal provided free of charge Food - Option 1 You have access to our well-equipped kitchen where your can prepare you own meals. We also provide basic such as eggs, coffee, tea, bread and staples such as pasta and rice. We can take you shopping and we have supermarkets located within a few minutes walk. Food - Option 2 We can provide all meals for an extra fee, otherwise guests can bring their on food and use our kitchen freely. Parking We have enough parking for 6 cars, parking is free Security Our property is located in a very safe part of town. We have a screen wall for added privacy and security. Our screen wall has an electric fence. For added security we have an alarm and 24 hour response security. So you can relax knowing that you and your property are secure. Guest have access to - Wifi - Kitchen - Yard - Braai and outdoor stove - Free parking -Laundry -Gazebo -Outdoor smoking Area - All common areas in the house Interactions with the guest I give my guests space but I am available when needed. I am a very flexible host, I am available for all reasonable requests. These include but are not limited - Airport transfers - City tours -Shopping - Going out/hanging out - Driving around town -All questions e.t.c Other Things to Note Botswana can at times experience power cuts, we have a backup generator for this.The generator starts automatically but at times we may need to come out and start it manually. - We have high-speed internet, but the speed really depends on the ISP, sometimes its blazing fast and sometimes its just a pain. The Neighborhood Overview The neighborhood is very safe. Within a few minutes walk from the house you can find the following -Shops -Laundromat -Gym -Bar/pub -Police station -Hospital Getting Around Public transport is very reliable, you can get a Combi(Mini Bus) to go to any part of Gabs. We will give you numbers for reliable taxi/cab service which operate 24 hours a day. There are car rental companies available is you prefer driving, we will recommend cheap options. We can also arrange cheap rental cars for guests to use during their stay. Guests would need to notify us well in advance for us to arrange cars for them.
