Pure Giethoorn, at its best!

In the most beautiful part of Giethoorn, outside the busy tourist area, this unique holiday home is located in the middle of nature. With unobstructed views over the water. The cottage has 2 bedrooms (1x 2-person and 2x 1-person bed). There is another 5th bed (1 pers.) in the hall upstairs. We would like to know if you would like to use a sheet package (bedding & towels). Surcharge is €10.00 p.p. The renovated bathroom makes the cottage a luxurious place to enjoy the tranquility, space and nature. The space The vacation home has a cozy lounge sofa and a dining table with a corner sofa where you can dine with several people. The kitchen is practically furnished with a dishwasher, refrigerator and combi oven/microwave. In addition, there is a Senseo coffee machine (coffee pods, milk & sugar available). As well as a kettle (tea bags provided). Downstairs is the double bedroom and the bathroom (toilet, shower and sink). Upstairs are 2 single beds and in the hall an extra single bed. Please note the stairs up are steep. The guest house is located behind our farm on the property, but with its own entrance and a large private garden. You have all the privacy here. You can also use our canoes for free. Important to know: Our guest house is only accessible via a walking-bike path or by boat and is about 4/5 minutes walk from the central parking lot and therefore less suitable for people with mobility problems. Also, the house and garden are directly on open water and the garden is not fenced. For children who cannot swim, we have life jackets available. Our 2 dogs walk on the property. They are not allowed in the guesthouse, but are very affectionate and will certainly come by. Guest access The guest house is located at the back of the farmyard and can be reached via a footpath. You can park the car for free at restaurant De Landije (Molenweg 2A). From here, it is a 300-meter walk over bridges to farm number 21. Other things to note It is possible to rent a whisper boat at restaurant de Landije, this is not our responsibility, but after booking we can share the details for renting a whisper boat at restaurant de Landije. At the guest house, we do have several canoes, free for use. It is also possible to rent bicycles in the village. If you would like to use an outdoor stove, we will charge extra for the firewood. It is also possible to book a sheet package, the costs for this are €10.00 per person per booking.
