With cosy wood burning stove for the winter months and an outside area for al fresco dining during lazy summer afternoons and balmy Norfolk evenings, it makes a great escape throughout the year. A well-equipped dining / kitchen opens onto a light and airy sitting room with a door leading to the sunny, fully enclosed garden - perfect for your early morning coffee and croissant, as well as secure for both children and dogs to play safely. Upstairs are two bedrooms, one with a beautifully reupholstered 19th century French king-size bed, and the other having twin singles. Also on the first floor is the family shower room featuring a large, luxurious walk-in shower. Pond Cottage offers the opportunity to spend quality time away together in a beautiful cottage at the heart of a fabulous village. Pond Cottage is a short drive from the bustling Georgian market town of Holt, and less than half an hour from the many stunning Blue Flag beaches along the North Norfolk coast, an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. For larger parties, The Forge, located two doors down, sleeps two people. Both cottages can be booked together, listed as The Forge (Edgefield). Additional Information: Two well-behaved dogs welcome (small additional charge). Synthetic bedding provided. Travel cot available on request. Please bring your own linen. Shower room With large, walk-in shower, wash basin and WC. Outside: Front garden overlooking the village pond and enclosed rear garden with garden furniture.
