The space The Retreat is a beautiful barn conversion and an idyllic space to relax and unwind, set in the quiet village of Great Paxton, Cambridgeshire. The secluded hideaway is situated in a perfect location, being only a 5-minute drive from St Neots and only a 30-minute drive to the historic city of Cambridge. The cabin itself is within walking distance to various amenities including a sweet little village shop as well as a local pub serving delicious food, gazing out onto the fields of the surrounding Cambridgeshire countryside. Our stunning accommodation is also within close proximity to the mainline railway station, allowing you to reach the city of Peterborough in 20 minutes as well as the phenomenal capital city of London in just under an hour. The property is by a train line. So please bear in mind there will be additional noise. The Retreat is a beautifully-private space, suitable for a romantic getaway or a get together with a small number of family and friends. In addition to possessing a fully-fitted kitchen, complete with all the necessary amenities, it features an exclusive Sauna Cabin to help you unwind and let all your stress melt away. Relax with friends in the Jacuzzi between 10am-10pm or dare to take a dive under the cold water bucket! Take in the last few rays of sunshine in our private garden, gazing at our enchanting Koi pond, or wrap up with your loved one with a glass of wine and enjoy the smokey warmth coming from the stone fireplace. The entire accommodation is for you and your guests to enjoy, so please feel free to make the most out of the idyllic, relaxing space and create moments with family and friends to cherish for a lifetime! Other things to note We love our small furry friends and we welcome up to four pets. Additional fees apply £25 per pet. Facilities are available from 10am-10pm (expect the day of check out) If you wish to use the facilities longer there is a £25 charge per hour up till midnight.
