Cosy comfortable cottage ideal for couples or friends wanting to experience some quality catch up time in beautiful surroundings of the south Downs National Park. You are within easy reach of the South Downs Way footpath and many other walking routes. The Cottage has its own garden with views of the hills, so even if you are not walking up them you can enjoy the scenery. The space The 1st bedroom facing the garden and Downs has a double bed and the 2nd bedroom faces the street and decorative victorian houses opposite. This bedroom has a super king size bed or two single beds. The bathroom with over head shower is on the ground floor. Stocked with 'Faith in Nature' body wash, shampoo and conditioner, soap and towels. Your living room is open plan through to kitchen and patio doors. There is a sofa and armchair around the wood burning stove. Other heating sources are electric radiators in all rooms and underfloor heating downstairs. We have wifi, Sky TV, a selection of dvd's, radio and bluetooth speaker. The garden has stunning south facing views, table and chairs with an umbrella for sunny days. The kitchen is fully equipped with all utensils, blender, microwave, washing machine, fridge freezer, toaster, kettle, coffee plunger, teapots. On arrival we make sure you have breakfast options of; tea, coffee, herbal teas, cereal, milk, butter and bread. We also provide basic ingredients of; olive oil, balsamic vinegar, salt and pepper. There is a full range of cleaning materials available should you need them. We have neighbours who we care very much about and want to maintain good relations with. We ask you to be respectful of noise levels. Guest access Please use the parking available in the driveway, suitable for one car and two very small cars at a squeeze. If you do park on the road side then make sure you tuck in very tightly to the wall so that large vehicles can pass. A car is of course an easy way to get around. You may choose to cycle from nearest station which is Hassocks. Or walk to us via the south Downs Way.
