Cozy atmosphere, books and comfortable armchairs, so you can really relax even in bad weather. Wi-Fi, TV and DVD, in case the weather is terrible. The space Our cottage is particularly suitable for nature lovers and people who just want to really unwind and relax. Children are also welcome here. Very close is the forest pool with a large slide. However, it is now in private hands and the opening hours are somewhat erratic. You can swim at the reservoir in Dahlenberg (5 km) and at the Prettiner lakes above the Elbe. We have tried to preserve the charm of the old house and still set it up so that you can enjoy it as a modern person. A large TV and a very decent DVD collection can provide variety. Wi-Fi prevents you from falling out of the world completely if you don't want to. Lots of books and magazines can be browsed. We have attached mosquito nets to most windows, so you can stay in the house largely undisturbed even in summer. In the bedroom there is a double bed with viscoelastic mattress pads, so that you can sleep well even with a not quite fresh back. There is also a bunk bed in the bedroom. In order to be able to customize the privacy, we have installed a pull-out double bed in the living room under the platform (on which the red sofa stands). You can go to the bathroom from both the bedroom and the living room, so that none of the rooms becomes a passageway. The Dübener Heide Nature Park begins right on the edge of the village. Here you can hike for hours without meeting a soul. The Elbe is about 3 km away. Here, too, you can enjoy pure nature all day. If you bring bicycles, you can take the international Elbe Cycle Route after about 600 m and cycle to Torgau or Wittenberg, for example. The bikes can be locked in the shed at the house. The house is heated with wood, wood is available (trust box). The bathroom is heated by an electric radiator. Also, plenty of cuddly blankets ensure that you have it cozy. The kitchen is equipped with everything you need for good cooking. Unfortunately, we cannot offer a dishwasher. If you don't want to wash your laundry by hand, you can give it to me to wash. A clothes horse is on the terrace. Well-behaved dogs are welcome. However, it is important to us that they do not lie on the furniture, so that allergy sufferers also get a chance to have a tolerable stay. The garden is completely fenced so the dogs can move freely. The house and garden are located on our property, but are completely separated from it. Overall, the cottage is integrated into the village community, i.e. dogs bark from time to time in the village, sheep bleat or somewhere a rooster crows (but not right next to it). And sometimes it smells the way it does in a village where animals are kept.
