Trespontets are two self-contained, nicely presented holiday cottages with a private swimming pool and a large garden. All of the property is on the ground floor, with a large, mature garden that is perfect for relaxing and equally suitable for outdoor games. A private above-ground pool with a decked terrace. You rent both holiday homes; all facilities are for your exclusive use during your stay. The space 4km to the picturesque village of Allemans du Dropt, on the River Dropt, with a butcher, a boulangerie, canoeing, and a friendly bar and restaurant. The historic town of Duras, with the famous Chateau Duras, is just 8km away, where you will also find a selection of shops, bars and restaurants as well as a weekly market on Monday mornings and popular night markets every Thursday in the peak summer months. The garden, which has a 40 ft Lime tree, is over two acres with well-kept lawns, shrubs, bushes, fruit trees and ample seating for relaxing lazy days and alfresco dining. It is equally suitable for outdoor games and relaxing. Great eateries surround Trespontets; Monteton (3.5km) has stunning views, a bohemian music bar, a fine-dining restaurant, and a 12th-century church. From this viewpoint, you can see the 13 bell towers of nearby churches across the vista. There are also several places to eat nearby, such as Monsegur (15km), Duras (8km) and Marmande (21km). Trespontets consists of two self-contained properties, Maison de Tilleul and Maison du Peche; you are renting both properties. ----- Maison de Tilleul: All accommodation is on the ground floor. Bedroom 1. A spacious, luxurious room is full of light with a Super King-size bed (180cm x 200cm). Electric shutters for the windows. Bedroom 2. Single bed (90cm x 190cm) with the possibility to add another single bed if required. Electric shutters for the window. Bedroom 3. Another spacious and luxuriously presented room with a Super King-size bed (180cm x 200cm). Electric shutters for windows and doors. Luxurious Egyptian cotton bed linen. 1 x hairdryer and fans in each bedroom Bed linen, bath towels and pool towels are provided. A complimentary change of bed linen and bath towels will be provided for stays of 2 weeks or more. Shower room: Modern and well-presented, with a corner shower, basin unit and wc. Kitchen: The well-equipped kitchen is modern with a lovely country feel and views over the grounds. Electric oven, Gas hob, Extractor fan, Washing machine, Dishwasher, Pantry cupboard with microwave, kettle, Nespresso coffee machine, cafetière, Island unit with stools, Fridge-freezer. Lounge and dining: Beautifully presented open-plan living space with two sets of double doors opening onto the alfresco eating area and gardens. Wifi, 2 and a 3 seater sofa, armchair, Dining table seats 8, 42 ” TV with UK English language free-to-view channels, DVD player, iPod docking station, DVD’s, and games. Bedroom 1. Double bedroom, spacious bedroom with a double bed (140cm x 190cm) and built-in wardrobes Bedroom 2. Twin bedroom, bedroom with twin beds (90cm x 190cm each). A door opens onto the garden. Kitchen: Features include an electric hob with an extractor hood, a microwave oven, a dishwasher, a washing machine, a fridge with a freezer compartment, a kettle, a Senseo coffee machine and a cafetière. Living area: Comfortable and homely open-plan living area with a circular dining table seating 4, a 3-seater sofa and an armchair, a working fireplace, Wi-Fi, a TV with UK English-speaking language Free to view channels, a DVD player, DVDs, games and books. Double doors lead onto the patio. Outside Maison du Peche: Covered patio with table and chairs seating 4 with a BBQ. ----- Private pool: The private above-ground pool measures 3.4m x 6m and is 1.2m deep with a decked surround with loungers and chairs. The properties are situated on 2 acres of gardens, with lots of lawn and mature trees, and there is no fence or border between them. Each property has its own separate driveway. Games room: Games room with table tennis and table football. Private catering, Gastronomic experiences and Vineyard tours: Tailor-made experiences at the house or maybe a picnic in the vineyard? English and French are spoken. ----- Trespontets is situated near the village of Allemans du Dropt, 4.2km away, by the River Dropt, with horse riding, canoeing, camping and a friendly bar and restaurant. A Golf course within a 20-minute drive and many local walks, hikes and lakes for swimming. The towns of Monsegur (15km) and Duras (8km) in the region of Aquitaine, within the Bordeaux wine region, and on the borders of the Dordogne, Gironde and Lot et Garonne, France. Bordeaux city centre is a 100km drive to the west, Bergerac is 40km to the east, and Saint-Émilion is 50km north. Guest access The house, games barn and pool are all for your use only. Other things to note Included in the price: Bed linen, bath towels and pool towels are provided. A complimentary supply of bed linen and bath towels will be provided for stays of 2 weeks or more. House heating by electric wall heaters. End-of-stay cleaning is required; the house must be left as you found it and in reasonable condition on departure. Pool information: The pool is open for all dates. Pool heating is included for all dates in 2026. Please note that specific temperatures cannot be guaranteed, as weather conditions and other factors influence pool heating. Dog friendly: 1 dog is considered on request. An additional charge of £50 per booking, plus an additional security bond of £250 will apply.
