Yurt by River Wreake

This is a delightful ( 17' diameter) yurt made using lovely steam bent ash staves. It is situated in our large ( 2.5 acre) garden by the River Wreake where we have canoes available for you to use. It has a king sized bed , a pair of very large camping bunks and a single folding foam bed. Just behind the yurt is a wooden composting toilet, and a small electric shower room. The space Situated close to the quiet River Wreake, where we have canoes available for you to use. It lovely and spacious and currently set up to sleep 5 . The King sized bed is really comfortable and the wood burner keeps it cosy. There are two large camping bunk beds which can be separated if preferred. There also is a travel cot available. We have 2 other home-built cabins on the site,so larger families or groups can rent them together. There is also a Tiny House Trailer. These are all listed on Airbnb. We have lots of wildlife including otters (which you probably won't see) and kingfishers (which you probably will see) . There is also a tree house which has a stair case..and a door at the bottom which we ask guests to keep bolted so parents can decide if their children are allowed up..there are bikes, toy tractors and a home built play fort with slide and swings..oh and a big grass are for ball games. I run canoe building holidays here too. There are buoyancy aids available, and these must be worn by any children going down to the river or on the canoes. In addition to the Yurt we have two home made cabins ( both very different) and a Tiny House Trailer, so depending on the date of your visit, you might well encounter other guests, although we have 2.5 acres here, so plenty of space. Guest access You can use the canoes (buoyancy aids available, please ensure children wear them ) .You can visit the tree house, and you can borrow our bikes. We ask smokers to only smoke or vape by the river, and not in the yurt, thank you. Dogs are welcome but please don't allow them on the furniture, thank you Other things to note We have an electric car recharging point which you are welcome to use. Owing to the increased price of electricity we now ask guests to pay for the power they use, leaving the payment in the honesty box.
