Rustic Creek side cabin (The Sugar Shack)

Fall into a private, rustic cabin off the beaten path. The “Sugar Shack” is a tiny cabin that has an open floor plan with a front deck that floats over a pristine stream. It’s the perfect location for a couples getaway, a break while passing through or quick weekend adventure, any time of year The space This little cabin is a nature lovers dream. As you drive up to this hidden sanctuary you can’t help but breathe in the freshness of peace and tranquillity. You can enjoy a nap or read a book by the creek, or enjoy cool waters of the stream. If that doesn’t calm your senses, the fire pit is a great place to relax after a day of hiking, wine tasting or trying your luck at the local gem mine. Also if you bring your fur family there is plenty of open space for them to run and play without worry. There is a small charge for pets. Please remember to add pets to your reservation! The cabin is only a short 30 min drive from Wilkesboro, Elkin, and Statesville, the location provides entrainment possibilities that are endless. But the most memorable area is the front deck that will make this little cabin the highlight of any vacation. Just grab your coffee, wine or tea and let the sound of the stream relax you during your stay. Guest access You have full access of the property. More information is given in the Guest Welcome Book. Other things to note As with any rustic cabin the interior is decorated with several animal mounts on the walls as shown in interior photos. Pets are welcome for an additional $10 fee. No charge for service animals. $50 will be charged post reservation if pets are not added before confirmation of reservation. There is no hammock or gas/charcoal grill is available at this time. You are welcome to bring a portable one if needed. There is a small outdoor wood grill near the firepit.
