6.5miles from Gatwick Airport, this is a rural and secluded period cottage, a renovated family home, that boasts 3 receptions, 3 bathrooms and can sleep up to 9 comfortably. It sits in a large mature garden, half of which is south facing, all of which is very private and peaceful surrounded by woodland but not far from local amenities. The space The cottage has been renovated and is spacious with three different entertaining spaces downstairs, the dinning room that comfortably seats six, but will easily accommodate more, spare chairs available. The dining room is just off the kitchen making entertaining easy; dish washer and most mod cons are available in the kitchen for your use. The south facing dining room leads onto the sitting room which has double french doors leading to the garden/ patio. The terrace opens out onto a natural swimming pool, filtered by plants and UV, it's not everyone's cup of tea, but the kids have loved a place to splash about and enjoyed the newts, frogs and massive dragon fly. The playroom, is as it suggests another big space for kids to hang out it, offering a full size table tennis table and board games/ toys. There is a downstairs bathroom which has a walk in shower. There is a utility room with a washing machine and dryer also available for use. There is a small office off the utility that will be shut, containing paper work mainly. The rest of the house has great insulation and double glazing throughout so your stay will be as warm or cool as you need it to be. The upstairs comprises of 5 double bedrooms, three of which double beds, (though one is a small double ). The other single room has a single bed, but has a trundle bed so can sleep two. The other single room just has a single bed. There are three bathrooms, all renovated though some still have their quirks; comprising of a shower and bath, toilet and basin. The house is set within an acre of garden that backs onto private woodland. Guest access Guests will be able to enter all spaces except the utility office, and other out houses that are open, contain outdoor cushions. The Art studio is not locked but not open to guests. The double garage will also be locked. There is ample parking space for three cars on the drive. Other things to note There is a natural swimming pool in the back garden, it does not have any fence around it. Children are obviously welcome to swim in it, but due to the nature of the pool, parental supervision is suggested at all times. Access to the pool is by jumping in only; the stepping stones are just for looking at the nature in that part of the pool.
