Please note: too many visitors have not respected the tranquility of the place, we do not accept any rentals for festive occasions. The space The house has been designed for relaxation and conviviality. Enjoy the space of the huge living room (nearly 100 m2), discussion around the bar (8 chairs) while others are active in the kitchen (Godin cooking piano, American refrigerator), compete in billiards or opt for a few moments of relaxation by the fireplace in one of the two 5-seater sofas or in cooconing mode in the hanging chair. PLEASE NOTE: since the beginning of November 2021, the wood fireplace has been replaced by a pellet insert in order to guarantee better heating of the room at a mild and constant temperature. There is therefore no longer the possibility of make a fire in the fireplace, but you can still enjoy the beauty of a flame. We've added a photo so you can see the change; others will follow as soon as the photographer is available! The house also offers the possibility of isolating yourself, in the master bedroom or in one of the three large bedrooms on the floor. Need some fresh air? The huge property will allow everyone to walk around in peace. The little ones can enjoy the swings, the older ones a drink on the terrace between two games of ping-pong (in season). The heated pool (from May to September when temperatures are above 20 degrees) with 13 x 4 m shotcrete mirror edges, with a shallow 6 m2 beach for the little ones, will make your stay even more relaxing! The target temperature is 28 degrees; we do not want to heat beyond this both for ecological reasons and because a higher temperature promotes the appearance of algae. WARNING: The storms of winter 2023/2024 decimated the pine forest. We had to have them cut down. The landscape is therefore much more bare. We will replant once the property has been fully fenced (deer have devoured all the young shoots we had planted) and the private road has been redone in spring 2024 (forestry machinery has damaged it a lot). The gas BBQ for 8 people ensures, with ease, the best conviviality for the mild spring and summer days. Please note, however: we ask that you clean the barbecue yourself after use, as its cleaning is not covered by the standard cleaning fee. If the barbecue is left dirty, an additional fee of 50 EUR will be requested, corresponding to cleaning by a professional. Please also make sure to clean the barbecue at the back of the garage so as not to leave any grease or chemicals on the garden lawn. The master bedroom has a TV screen (but no TV channels) with DVD player. You will find board games in the living room library as well as toys on the landing upstairs. Guest access You will have access to the whole house and the 7-hectare park. Only the garage is not accessible, for safety reasons. The house is equipped with games, DVDs, books that you can borrow carefully and store after use. Other things to note The master bedroom, on the ground floor, has a king size bed (180 x 200) in one piece. Two of the three bedrooms on the floor have king beds (180 x 200) and the third twin beds (2 x 90 x 200) that can be combined or separated according to your needs, as well as a single bed (90 x 200). A baby crib is also available and can easily be moved to the room of your choice. Please note: due to too many visitors not respecting the tranquility of the place (outdoor sound system, shouting at night, etc.) we no longer accept any rentals for festive occasions (birthdays and other celebrations). We want to preserve a quiet environment for our neighbors and respect for the place.
