Beech Wood Lodge is a lovely, detached, single-storey Lodge, set against a backdrop of ivy & Beech trees. It’s ideal for couples or small families, also dogs are welcome. All on ground floor: Living/dining room/kitchen with a double sofa bed. 1 double bedroom en-suite shower room & toilet. Electric central heating, electricity, bed linen & towels included. Travel cot & highchair available on request. Free view TV, electric cooker & microwave. Wi-Fi. Parking for 2 cars. No electric car charging. The space Some guests have commented that they’ve read there’s no hot water at the property. There most definitely IS and I don’t know why it states there isn’t. So please be assured there’s running hot water from the shower and the taps. Thank you. Other things to note Opposite Beechwood Lodge is The Black horse pub. It’s a privately owned pub so offers a different setting, service & menu choices that you would find at The Oyster Catcher pub that is at the top of the street which is part of the vintage inns chain of pubs. The Black horse is dog friendly, offers a restaurant or snacks at the bar.
