Homestead "Taparynė"

Quiet and cozy homestead "Taparynė" offers You and Your friends unforgettable weekend in Lithuanian wilderness! Just by the river Virinta (25m). We have sauna, kayaks, multiple eating spaces outside (one on the river) and NO NEIGHBOURS :) The space Taparynė is located on the coast of river Virinta, in quiet and remote place. We don't have any neighbours, so we guarantee You maximum privacy :) Taparynė offers You a Family house and sauna with bedroom upstairs. Both houses are connected with spacious terrace. Family House contains a Twin Room, a Quadruple Room and a kitchen. Twin Room is perfect for couples getaway. Authentic Lithuanian rural interior makes this room very cozy. Satellite TV, various board games and many interesting books will make sure Your stay in Taparynė won't become boring even on the rainiest days. If it's necessary, one additional bunk bed is placed. The kitchen is just behind the doors. Quadruple Room - spacious upper floor room has 4 separate beds. Simple interior design, two big windows and a lot of sun creates a very relaxing and peaceful environment. Cozy little kitchen has all the inventory you could need: big fridge, a lot of different kitchenware, coffee maker and etc. The best part is - You don't need to do Your dishes! We collect and wash them for You. Sauna House - situated on the second floor of the sauna building, this room has 6 separate, hand-made beds, 2 closets, it's own fridge and is perfect for small groups of friends. Has small balcony with a river-view. If necessary - couple of bunk beds could be placed. Our sauna is special - built in authentical Lithuanian style, it is a mix of Finnish sauna and Russian sauna. Easily facilitates a dozen of people. It has a shower, small sitting room and main sauna room. To the river Virinta - only 25 meters. Toilet is situated 10 m from main facilities, so You will have to experience authentic Lithuanian country lifestyle. We also have a couple of different arbours. One seats around 20 people, has it's own fireplace and improvised bar. Great for preparing and eating lunch or dinner. The next one is situated on the raft. You can enjoy a glass of wine while floating in the middle of the river :) original, elegant - seats around 8-12 people, has been a hit every summer so far. The last one is more distant, in case You want to rest from the other members of Your party. Has 2 joined tables, BBQ facility and is as green as it gets - sun-powered lamps and green tent. An array of activities can be enjoyed on site or in the surroundings, including fishing, hiking, darts and many more. For the smallest of our guests we have a fun children's playground. We also rent kayaks. Pets are welcome, we have 3 dogs by ourselves. Taparynė is located 97 km from Vilnius Airport. To highway A6 - only 5 km and Alanta is just 7 km away. Guest access Everything is accessible except the owner's house :) Other things to note We have 2 dogs and 2 cats. Dogs are kept inside their own house, cats wander around.
