Within walking distance, there are all kinds of animals that are interesting for children, especially horses, but also sheep, pigs, and chickens. Lake Laach is just a three-minute drive away—a wonderful spot for walkers, joggers, and water sports enthusiasts. Our straw bale house is not barrier-free. n spring 2025, after severe damage to the lime plaster facade during road construction, the building was extensively renovated and fitted with a corrugated aluminum facade to protect the straw bale walls. We also installed a small window in the gable wall of the sleeping gallery for improved ventilation.
